I'm so glad the police are searching for her, but if this guy is a first-time offender, it seems like he managed to pull off an incredibly careful operation. What are we missing? He was time-poor and, by all accounts, drug or alcohol affected, and yet we have nothing. Did he return to the scene...
I can see the searches of "how long to marry after a death" being important to him as another dowry from an arranged marriage from another poor unsuspecting young women looking to move out into the world would fix his debt.
Also MKB probably angered him by suggesting they needed marriage...
What a story that Tesla could reveal.....
This is a wild angle, but culturally, some social classification remnants remain; I'd like to know, with the arranged marriage, if Mamta was 'marrying' up in terms of class, and so NB treated her as someone beneath his social standing. There are so many...
I have had a worse thought: what if SM was unconscious and incapacitated with the same drugs the assailant used and dropped off somewhere? (Also could be incapacitated physically with restraints.) Likely the guy had more drugs on him... Also, some drugs make you feel like you have supa hooman...
Hmm, I don't like the body burning idea; it seems unlikely since a body would take A LOT of fuel to dispose of and leave another crime scene not to mention a hell of a smell and lots of smoke. Altho there was that bushfire..... There will be GPS in his ute that will track his movements. I...
From memory, GBC did leave his kids with his parents a lot, but there was also worry that his parents were involved, and so there was a kerfuffle about them staying with them.
A damaged vehicle - I am not sure that police are referring to it being damaged because it hit SM but maybe it is implicated in moving her away from the site where she was taken. I mean, we ostensibly know she went to Mt Clear, but we don't know if her 'abduction' took place along the path or at...
I went through a haunted house with my kids many years ago, screamed blue murder, and nearly bashed the poor demon to death that jumped out at me - the kids were laughing and holding me back, but my reactions surprised me more than that demon! So yeah, who knows how we react! oh, and the demon...
I don't think I have ever run more than 100m at pace in my entire life! So that risk is taken care of. Running is just too exhausting and bad for your knees.
BUT unfortunately, I do like mushrooms, and will forever check the colour of the gills underneath when I am not the one cooking mushies...
Hmmm the first 48 hours are the most important in a missing persons case. After that, the likelihood of a person being found alive reduces significantly. So.... unfortunately, I don't think it is just her devices that are leading the police to say that she has met with her maker.
After assessing evidence and the information they collect from the person of interest, the police may find a party they believe committed the crime. This is a suspect. A person of interest may help the police find the suspect or may turn out to be one
Interesting what or who led them to the first search area? Obviously, they hadn't had the advantage of the phone ping data, etc. But this Mt Clear pathway seems a lot more feasible to complete in her morning timeframe given she was heading to brunch. (But this is a guess since I have no clue...
This case becomes so captivating because apparently, there is no last person to see her.....except the camera; I do wonder what her movements the night before entailed.
I have air pods, apple watch and a phone. While I love my watch - I feel a bit silly talking into it, so I generally use my phone even with my air pods. also, the screen is bigger on the phone, and you can access maps and other fitness apps more easily. If she was tracking her marathon training...
Yup, Detective W, these are my thoughts exactly! My husband and I have Find my Phone apps on all our family phones (cause I lose mine at home all the time) and on my air pods and on my watch (e-sim). It's so useful, we don't find it intrusive, but that is just us.
