Evidence that point away from the Ramsey's

It could be she didn't want to get involved as a witness, so she changed her story. What I remember is that when she heard the scream, she woke up her husband - who then heard the metal scraping against concrete (isn't that the description? It's been so long I forgot the exact words). You...

I've read enough! Ramseys done it.

I've probably been around since day one of this website, read all the books - few years back stopped being so active....would still read posts every once in a while. Then, of course, Karr, brought me back. But I'd like to say, I really appreciated the post re: the ransom note and...

JAR's semen on the blanket in a suitcase in the basement

I wouldn't be so hard on the "Guy From Georgia" - JAR & Melinda were only cleared as a negotiation deal for the Ramseys to talk to the police. JR's plane hangars were never checked (John actually gloats about this in DOI). Also, in DOI, it talks about "games" the Ramsey's played with private...

Patsy, John, and the 2 Intruders

As I remember it - the butler door was left open by one of the Ramsey's friend who came over that morning....either way, Officer French (the first police officer on the scene) did not see it open.

    JBR Head Injury

 Lou's theory is that the pineapple was in a tuberware in JonBenet's bedroom - she woke up that night and ate it from the tuberware. (did I spell tuberware right? Looks strange)

    What we don't know

I remember reading that there were hair ties scattered on the floor of JonBenet's bedroom. I have always wanted to see the pictures from FW's dinner that night - see how JonBenet's hair was done, etc.

    Poll: was Patsy involved?

I recall Burke stating he saw Patsy walk up the stairs behind JonBenet that night. John was with Burke and the toy. So, what if, Patsy put JonBenet to bed, went downstairs to finish her gift wrapping. John finished with Burke, put him to bed - went in to say good night to JonBenet. Patsy...

    Globe Lead Investigator speaks out

Jeff Shapiro was one of the few "heros" in this case. I heard tape recordings of him speaking to the Editor of Globe (long time ago, but I believe my memory serves me right). He disputed the tactics being used by the tab. I also remember someone (Globe? I believe) called in a fake lead...

    Crime scene staging?

The FBI theory was that Patsy found John molesting JonBenet - went to hit him with the flashlight - missed and hit JonBenet instead - then, came the cover-up Also, it's my understanding that the dictionary was open and dog-earred to the word "incest." There is a link to the suitcase and...

    Beloved Maxi

I am sadden to hear this. My heart goes out to the family. May she be in the spirit of joy.

    britgirl's theory

The broken basement window was hidden from the outside. There was no way an intruder would've known it was already broken and that would be the best place to enter. Even after John said the house was locked up, he then changed his mind. I understand there were Christmas light cords going...

    Patsy and the 911 Call

When I first heard it, I got chills. It could've been believable...however, the problem I have is how fast they called 911. The note said not to - there was no thinking about it - no, maybe we should call from the cell phone - no, maybe we should call the FBI - no, maybe, we're being watched...

    Good Southern Common Sense

John's ex-wife and children lived in Georgia. John felt Atlanta was home. Where did John live when he was married to Lucinda and raising their family?

John -"Something really important to attend to"

It was either B.S. - to get outta town .... or, as Bluecrab stated, he was thinking of dealing with the killer. Who was in Atlanta....hmmm? Who had legal representation in Atlanta....hmmm? Who were the police not allowed to talk to in Atlanta....hmmmm?

    JonBenet's Other Brother

Another theory - JAR once related his family to the one in Ransom (w/Mel Gibson), thought they were similar - JAR also stated the Killer should receive "forgivenness." It's my understanding JAR had alcohol & violence in his background. JAR may have resented the "new" family. He and his...

Fantasy Island, 'DA Plane, Da Plane'

I can appreciate what your saying about the lack of readiness for the plane to fly to Atlanta, BUT - The plane was already checked out to leave that morning. It was only the destination that changed. Fueling would have already been done as well. Are you saying some planes may not fly...

Fantasy Island, 'DA Plane, Da Plane'

There's also another passage in one of the books where John asks Archuletta how long it would take to get the plane ready to depart to Atlanta. Archuletta answers a couple of hours (don't remember the exact time) - but point being - if the plane was supposed to be ready for take off early...

    Jeff Shapiro

This thread did say Jeff Shapiro - and I LOVE Jeff Shapiro. When the Globe was ready to blackmail Steve Thomas (it's been a long time but I believe it was over his mother's suicide?) Shapiro wouldn't stand for it. He refused and even set up the head of the tabloid with taped phone...

Would We Be Willing To Change Our Theories?

GuruJosh, that is so funny, yet so true. Everyone of my theories has a hole in it....from intruder to JAR. Evidence that will close that hole in any theory will certainly change my opinion. But, in my mind, the pineapple has always led me to believe it was an "inside job" as JR said...

    In the news...briefly

It would also appear that Fox made a deal with L Wood (wasn't there a lawsuit) that would not point the finger at the Ramseys anymore. Seems that Greta had to jump in and rectify that. Good for Fuhrman for keeping it real.
