Unfortunately, she is not the first (nor, sadly the last) woman that has returned to their abuser. In NO WAY, however, does she "deserve" to be beat in the future. She is in need of some psychological guidance so that she can better understand the dynamics of abuse and how to break the cycle...

They may not get a welfare check every month, but from what I read they DO get from the federal government: $3,500 x 17 for dependent deductions, $10,900 for joint marriage, and if you add in the stimulus checks this year of $300 per child, that's quite a nice amount for having 17 offspring!

Most of the time here in Detroit, unless it has been specifically requested, and/or in the case of Catholics (that I know of), the caskets are open during the funeral; usually being closed just prior to the eulogy beginning. At that time, there is usually a very emotional closing of the casket...

I was away for most of the day yesterday, and only heard about Zina being found late last night. Sooo sad; and it makes my blood boil. RIP little one.

I'm likewise praying for her safe return. I just became aware of this young girl last night on the Nancy Grace show. I also just heard that the father can't speak English and other family members have to interpret for him.

I hope I don't get blazed for this opinion, but I have had a bad feeling about her father since the first I heard of this. Did anyone else hear her scream? Did anyone else actually see her at the fireworks? Who actually saw the Asian male? I really hope that I am wrong, but something just is...
