Found Deceased KY - James 'Mike' Kimsey, 48, Louisville, 29 May 2015

I am glad the hat was a misspoken thing. I had not heard that. We can all go back and look at the press conference, but the speaker mumbled something about they expected this to be the case-- assumed he had wandered off and committed suicide and that an animal might find his remains. And they...

Here are two copies, but at least we got it. I made this map from Google Maps.

To respond to some comments in this thread today: a dog was specifically mentioned; either in the press conference or other media reports. A gun would not have been his first choice perhaps. While the houses are spread out a little, a gun shot in the middle of the night would be noticed. I...

Thank you for the acknowlwdgement that my thoughts were correct. I guess I have seen too many scenarios over suicide to know this was a possibility. Sadly the inaction by the police have made this horrible because no one will absolutely know what happened. I have so many questions--dogs...

I hope like heck that noticed nothing that diabolical happened to Mike. I would not see why he would be singled out and abducted for something so exotic in of all places , Louisville Ky. But we just don't know what happened. I too have though suicide all along. And he is there in one of those...

And all that about knowing things that he can't divulge and things people ha e shared with him are probably all the spouse stuff that has already been divulged. I wouldn't think the parents would need to have the quarry searched or hire a detective if they had any answers.

But that is all we hear about is the details of his life right before his disappearance. I don't think he would have been happy. Sometimes, there is only so much one can take, put up with, ignore or pretend it does not exist. And you bet that some people escape from their lives by ending it...

I know in the quarry search the news reports said the algae was so thick that a helicopter? Had to be called in to break it up. So, I would imagine, you can't see or dive through it, and when you break it up, you can't see through it until it settles. My assumption was of them calling it off was...

Well, they didn't find him, but after five months in water, what would you find? Also, if the dogs "hit on something" was it specific to Mike or just humana remains? I know dogs cannot smell in water, so exactly what did they do? I guess everyone just gave up and went home? I would have loved...

Breaking news on WAVE3 today. Parents are in town, police are searching quarry (water) for Mike as I write this. They finally got someone to search something.

Crickets here everybody. There is nothing in the news, nothing new on FaceBook, and this post has dwindled to nothing. No one is publicizing anything on this case. I wish neighbor's would tell us of any activity in their neighborhood or at Mike's home. I wish someone could organize a search of...

I agree. I have no idea on any activity on this case. No one is communicating to the public.

Does LE NEED a search warrant when the persons involve readily allow searches? I mean, if the LE said "We'd like to look around in your home and also look at your computer files." and you said OK, why would they need a search warrant? Since I assume it was the spouse that initially notified LE...

Well whatever it is, it is not earth shattering enough for much action from the police, or the spouse. I see no recent coverage of this on the news. Spouse has not asked for neighborhood help that I am aware of. At first I thought there was foul play, but lack of any action to resolve this...

As I have stated before, a ten minute walk would get Mike to any number of heavily wooded areas. No car needed. In fact, if he wanted to in some way get back at someone my committing suicide in a way that he appears missing, he would NOT want to have his car nearby. The police only searched...

I am sure he could walk by then. That surgery is life changing, and he was younger than most and otherwise in good shape to boot. Also, I drove to the neighborhood and the surrounding area. In ten minutes on foot you could be any any number of wooded areas, some more vast then others. Go back...

Not so fast. People kill out of pure anger. A moment's flash of violence is all it takes. Many court rooms are filled with remorseful killers who "didn't mean to do it." But I think suicide is the answer. He's in a tree in one of those clumps of woods by his house, hung. I wish not, but that's...
