How many planes and boats do you think it would take to spend $100k on fuel in one day? That's a lot of eyes, 2-4 people per plane; 4-6 per boat? Heli Aviation said they spent $2500 on two helicopters per day. So $1250 on one helicopter.
If you'll agree that a helicopter's fuel usage could be...
Oh you haven't seen strange yet. I can't even post it here because it's facebook stuff.... So so so many inconsistencies. From day 1. This is going to explode soon, people are MAD.

I don't know about the insurance part for sure, but it is classified as "non-navigable" by the Coast Guard. There was also a sign added at some point in the last year or so that reads "Dangerous inlet, local knowledge required" or something very close to that.
"Standing waves" are another...
It depends. I read that the motor was a '98 or '99 Yamaha 125. It was definitely more fuel than they needed to go catch a few in the inlet, or even just outside the inlet. The house the boat was docked at was not far from the inlet at all.
I haven't been around here since Friday, so I havent...
So not only is that petition getting blasted everywhere, the aunt is also asking people to contact their senator to team up with Patrick Murphy to put pressure on the Coast Guard to keep searching.... Yet this was released a bit ago-
"The families released this statement following the Coast...
Also, the Gulf Stream is about 3 miles out from the beach in Jupiter. As far as the boat being out past the Gulf Stream and still ending up in it... It's possible, I would think eventuslly everything ends up in it. It's a very strong current.
I remember that post. She got filleted for not saying something earlier, accused of being a lying troll, and never came back. I don't know if it went any further than her post; or if it was even true. She said she saw them spearfishing.
No, there were pictures from that buoy. Just not the ones that got plastered all over creation. It's really a long story, but I'll do my best to cut the fluff out. :)

I stripped the link out because I'm THAT against this. What a slap in the face to the hundreds of people that worked 24/7 for a WEEK to find those boys. This makes me so angry...I've been stewing on this, watching this link being plastered all over my FB feed by friends, etc. and I've held my...
I don't know the gas mileage, but it was just over 25gal of gas. There may have already been fuel on board, though; and it's unknown how much is left in it. The FWC will be doing the vessel casualty investigation once the boat is back in Jupiter.

The Palm beach post(local newspaper) link is an interview with the marina clerk who dug the receipt out of the trash after the families called him for information. It's from 7/27.
The wsvn link (Broward county tv station) is from the 24th, and updated on the 25th.

That seems to be a previous article... This one is from the 27th.
"Since Friday, the boys families have called Krizka asking for details, he said. And he went through the trash to find the boys receipt to determine what time they were at the marina."...
