Didn't realize you started this thread - good for you. I agree with you. I don't think The A's ever imagined she could or would harm Caylee. My heart hurts for them. And, I don't think they will survive this. I hope I am wrong in this feeling. They may just give up. It may get to be too much...
I think that Cindy confronting her daughter may have sent Casey over the edge. There is no way we know what will send someone over the edge. She had every right to confront her daughter about stealing funds from her parents. But, in hindsight, Cindy may think this is what sent Casey into a rage...
O/T I was discouraged to hear last night that it may be two years before this case goes to trial. Cindy may be in the loony bin by then = just to try to keep in on topic!
Okay - I figured there would be photos of her leaving and coming home if she was working!! So, I assume George is not going to work either. I guess they are still trying to work out the 1.7 million Lifetime deal, which I understand if off the table now? I guess off the table until they are given...
Brings me back to my "what if" Cindy had not confronted Casey that night. Would Caylee still be alive? After 22 years of enabling, why this night?
And then again, we are not ALL perfect, with perfect foresight, are we?
I tend to agree ANASTACIA. I think this new lawyer has a good working relationship with both Cindy and George and perhaps for a change they may believe he is acting in their best interests, ALONG WITH Casey's best interest. Therefore, they are doing what he says.
I believe it is a "what if" for Cindy as far as I am concerned. "What if I had not confronted Casey with the money missing in my parent's account on that night. Would Caylee still be with us?"
Hindsight and guilt go hand in hand. Tragically, there is no do over.
Personally I cannot think of ANY situation where a "What If" will not apply.
I wish I could believe in "God has a purpose". That is another issue entirely.
Reconciling the "What If" and "God has a purpose" poses problems for me. Subject for another thread.
"Trust a Mother's Instinct"...
JBean, I got chills when I read your last post about the friend following your son after he pulled out of the gas station and calling 911. I am not a big believer in "it is your time" but someone was watching out for your son that night, that's for sure.
I watched Dr. Baden on Greta tonight...
I have sort of fast forwarded through this thread. Tonight I was really irritated with Greta's reporting on the issue. Never once did she mention Scientology or Autism. From the 10 pm broadcast to the 1 am broadcast I did some surfing. I had fogotten Greta is a Scientologist. I am concerned with...
