Thank you all for being here to share this with. I didn't realize how emotionally invested I was until just before the verdict I felt like I was going to vomit. Then I waited with bated breath as they were announcing MS verdict, for we all knew DM would get m1... It was MS that made me more...
? I saw someone post that one of them hid a knife in the wall? This is all just a quick scroll by so I wasn't sure if it was real or a joke and what really happened?
I never heard about this specific letter? That tells me that Dellen was keeping that gun hidden so he could use it for proof with prints later if needed. And that MS hiding it meant he knew his prints were all over it.
Did anyone else catch this when Mark was testifying?:
when DM lawyer was talking about the gun. At the end, he said something about how MS got the gun back and MS said unfortunately yeah I did. So he admitted that he had the gun, and then got it back... No?
you just reminded me, hunting has to be a certain distance from any roads. So if a gun went off that close to the road, someone would have heard it (likely that witness) and he would have made note of it because it's close by to a road.
I don't necessarily agree and I do live out here. The other week I was walking down Mckenzie road and heard gunshots, both times it made me jump. I also heard one near my house on the weekend that had me looking around. My husband is also a hunter. And the last thing I wanted to point out is...
He has a reason to hide that gun. Sorry, but if he rode into the woods, he knows what path he took and can give a general idea. Like oh I turned off this road and road my bike for about 5 mins before I buried it. Or I entered the woods through the park. Heck, I could tell you where I entered...
Dont forget that MS also has admitted to being there when it all went down which can also be used against him.
Another thought... Isn't that considered an admission of fact to the court? And if so, it's new evidence which may allow DM the chance to open his case again. No?
Actually, TD very well could have thrown his hands up and say I give up. I've heard of lawyers doing that here, in Ontario when the accuse doesn't follow advice. My nephew being one of them. It was a reckless driving charge and his lawyer literally said screw it when my nephew wanted to admit...
I thought everyone answered distance with time lol. Last night a client asked me how many miles away Selkirk was and I answered about 20 mins. Beats me how many miles it is lol.
Well it went off just before the test drive because it wasn't pinging on any towers then around 930 I thought he spoke with MM on his phone saying he was driving?
Also, why did MS turn his phone off if they were just scoping and taking the vehicle for a test drive? No criminal activity happening if it was just a test drive...
Not just that but I thought there was evidence that they were driving around the area a bit before going to time house, to find a place to hide the Yukon... Ms obviously knew something, or what's his excuse to that?
