Seems there is backlash against some who wrote letters for him. . .

I've heard he is appealing his conviction. Does anyone know if an appeal can backfire? Could a new judge give him more time if the new judge believes he deserves it?
I could swear in the first press conference or early statements by police they mention signs of a struggle and broken glass around the body. I don't have links to the exact statements though. . . I'll go look. . .
There were quite a few theories and the one I liked best is that it's either a tool or the inside push bar for the door where the handle was pried off.
Agreed. Or just go to your local library and use the computer without having to log into anything. Set up fake accounts on social sites and it would be very hard to find the person who did it. Unless the library has video of people using the computers.
Its way more frustrating to have the defense blow the prosecution apart with smoke and mirrors because all the investigation isn't complete, than it is to wait a few more weeks to let them get through all the stuff. Imagine the amount of man hours the video feeds from the sporting goods (gun)...
I have followed cases for more than a decade. While each is different, most take much longer than you want them to to be solved. It looks months to arrest Scott Peterson, Casey Anthony, and at least weeks for Jodi Arias (and they had naked pictures of her at the crime scene that were time...

"In criminal law, a suspect is someone who is under suspicion, often formally announced as being under investigation by law enforcement officials. Probable cause for an arrest exists when the facts and circumstances within...
Respectfully, this does not say anyone has been cleared. There are just no suspects.
"Johnson on Friday said none of the people named in those warrants are suspects in the case. Family members each have detailed alibis that has been corroborated through independent sources, he said."
No one has been cleared. During the press conference it was mentioned that no one is currently a suspect--not family, friends, or co-workers. This is often said by police when one of these people is very much a target by police (not saying that is the case here, just that it happens quite...
IMO we need to pay attention to what was not said in the press conference. Police usually won't list anyone as a suspect unless they are about ready to arrest. That does not mean that a person is not the top target for police.
I'm always interested when police use a negative to describe...
