I'm curious what happened after the video SAPD released cuts off. Does the truck u-turn to follow the KIA? IMO they could have picked up the KIA driver and continued to "clean" the car where it was dumped.
That's a lot of cameras. Do you think they're all legit? I know of some businesses that employ dummy cameras to look like they have a ton when they only have a few.

I have some HD cameras and they can clearly get a license plate number in the day, but at night, it's nearly impossible as it becomes more grainy and any additional light makes it washed out which is what I think we're seeing on the license plate.
Considering the industry his business is in and how it's been fairly turbulent lately, this may play a part in the finances discussion. I don't, however, feel like the finances have much to do with the case.
Is it me, or does the suspect not look as fat as some think in this screencap. It looks, to me, like it's just the gear that makes them appear heftier.

Cameras can be pretty finicky when set up for motion detection. Especially if we're talking about the ones outside, in the dark.
Anyone know what their camera setup was? IMO it doesn't seem like the cameras were put up/operated professionally.
