I sent an email about her and got a response that CODIS ruled out this Jane Doe. I kind of figured, but I don't understand why she isn't on the rule out list. Does anyone know why that is?

Could this be Sophia? http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/543uftx.html The age matches, as does the height, the timeline and the area she was found in. I'm not sure about the red/auburn hair, but I did notice the similar hairstyle in the composite, which could of course be a coincidence.

Thanks for those suggestions! I personally don't see the resemblance between Lisa Dickinson and this Doe, but that doesn't really say much considering how young she was when she disappeared. It does raise a lot of questions about what happened to her and what happened to make her end up like...

*Ramon is definitely wrong and I mean Ramos. The RamoS Bros and RamoS circus. Sorry, don't know where I got Ramon.

I might have missed it on here, but googling the flying rodogels brought me to the Ramon Bros circus. The Ramon family once were known as the Rodogel Brothers (performing in the us since 1983) according to their website. They were a flying trapeze act. The family now have their own circus (since...

I think you definitely have a point there. I don't think it sounds cold at all. I just hope (and believe) there's someone out there who at least wants to know what happened to her and can give her back her name.

Good point about the eyebrows and looks in general. Sorry to hear about you and your family. Mental illness is so difficult. For the person who's mentally ill, but for the people around them, too. I do wonder about this woman. I'm from the Netherlands and over here from what I've seen it's...

The possibilities really are endless, aren't they? He has features that a lot of people from a lot of different places have. I guess it's good some people are focused on different places though and look into them. Question: I guess I read on Reddit or somewhere that the isotopes were only...

For me personally his nose is another thing that points me in the Balkan direction. I've noticed that a lot of men from Balkan countries have a slightly crooked nose (bridge) like Lyle's. A previously broken nose makes sense, probably more than my theory, but it's just another small thing that...

All of that sounds very interesting. It's a theory that I'm not very familiar with. It's really something to keep in mind and maybe look into more. Sorry to hear you've had so much experience with mental illness whether it's from your own experiences or the people around you. I know how...

Thanks for the warm welcome and reactions! I was a little nervous about posting. I agree that so many people are interested in this case and doing their own little research. It is encouraging and it makes me hopeful we will some day ID him. I'm sure there are also many people who (like me...

Only my second post on websleuths ever (long time lurker), but I figured I would use it to bump this case and hopefully draw a little more attention to it, even though I have no additional information. As obvious as it might be by now, everything I've read on this particular case confirms to me...

My first post here ever (long time lurker) and for that reason alone my opinion shouldn't hold any meaning. Still, I wonder what ever came from the Eastern European/Balkan angle. I realize the isotopes results show he wasn't raised there, but I haven't been able to let go of an Eastern...
