I just had a thought. Maybe BR went 4WDing with his brother who has the Landcruiser 4x4. That might explain his knowledge of some of these areas where Karen's remains are thought to be. The State Park is one possibility. On Google Maps there are definitely tracks at Lerderberg State Park as well...
I didn't realise forensic soil analysis was so extensive.

I'm wondering if any evidence came out of the soil LE found in the cars or on the shovel. We've discussed on this thread about an old mine as a possible place where Karen's remains might be found. But a...
Being the business owner, she might have been expected to go in just before lunchtime to give the staff member who was working that day a lunch break. We still don't know for certain the time that the staff member at the store called BR looking for her do we? I've seen people on the forum here...
Wouldn't it be somewhat important to be specific on the mannequin with regards to the shoes Karen was wearing when she was missing?
Was she wearing runners or walking shoes?
Was she wearing flats - whether Coach brand like SR's - or another brand/colour?
Was she wearing heels or boots?
And what...
Interesting points, TGY.
What continues to stick out at me is BR's composure and control in his public appearances. Also the lack of hand gestures. Controlled. Is this normal for him? I don't know.
After going back to the footage of the first public plea, I find it somewhat jarring that BR is...
Good point, Itsapuzzle. Yes, it is hard work digging and pretty bloody obvious too in broad daylight. Hard to hide what you're doing, and it would take some time, I agree. Someone recently posted about old mines in the area on this thread...can't remember who? I also was wondering about...
Yes, I posted about the lack of shoes on the mannequin up thread.

BTW, love the knowledge your sharing about the local area.
I posted about Karen's handbag and purse up thread, but nobody answered my question. I agree, Makara, that the handbag and purse are significant. It's quite a distinct handbag (gold). Which could be why the police placed such a big emphasis on it when she went missing. And the Coach brand - I...
I've never been to this State Park. For those of you who have (like Park.al), is it easy to take a car close to bushland? BR was driving a Mercedes not a 4WD so I'm guessing he wouldn't have been able to go off road. Also, he would have to be able to drive close to where he hid Karen's body...
