ID ID - Marie Watson, 27, Emmett, 21 Nov 1977

They are reactivating my mother's case, and will be announcing it officially in a week or so, if all goes well. I've been in contact with several people who will be actively investigating it. This time, rather than a Detective, it will be a TEAM. Very excited about that!

ID ID - Marie Watson, 27, Emmett, 21 Nov 1977

Thank you, Laughing. Almost everyone else in my family has just given up on ever knowing. I suppose I understand, because I know who killed her, and the reason why is obvious to everyone, so I guess they feel like they know all that they need to. But I want more, and I'm not even sure what that...

The Thin Air Podcast did an episode about her a few months ago at the beginning of the year, which has brought it all rushing back again...

CA CA - Debbie Dorian, 22, Fresno, 22 Aug 1996

Ugh, he just keeps getting away with it. :( I think sometimes those are the hardest ones for me to read... where the suspect just keeps getting away with it and hurting more and more people. I hope they catch the guy and throw everything at him including the kitchen sink.

MI MI - Karen Oatley, 14, deaf, Lansing, 5 Aug 1979

One of the most heartbreaking as well as frustrating things about these old cases like this one is that there's so little information to be found. Even if you are "on site" so to speak, there's still so little information. What information can be found is often confusing and conflicting, to top...
