I read in the Lynn case that police set up the 60 minutes story as part of their strategy which I found very interesting.
No doubt following the discovery of SM’s phone, everything we hear from now on will be strategised. I’m really keen to see the next development and hopefully find SM
A barrister friend of mine once told me if you’re thinking of committing a crime, don't, because someone will be watching you. In this case the watcher is phone records and phone location. It’s sheer luck rather than any form of ingenious planning by the accused (and/or others) that SM has...
Looks like LE are searching for SM’s mobile and/or watch that may have been disposed of by the accused in that area. IMO they are very very close to a significant development.
That will be the defence of the accused if found guilty to minimise his sentence. Many accused before him have got off lengthy sentences with the same or similar defences so there would be plenty of precedence’s to quote.
Absolutely agree. I think the accused probably had a few days to think of where to dispose of the body (hopefully LE have the phone data and are searching possible areas) but will definitely be found eventually by a walker/hiker somewhere close to a road/4wd track . IMO it would be where there...
I’d be searching the mineshafts close to a road.
Putting my self in the accused’s shoes in getting rid of a body in a mineshaft, I would want to get it done very quickly so I wouldn’t be seen and I wouldn’t want to drag a body too far away from my vehicle.
In saying that, the accused may...
He will tell police eventually once he realises he’ll spend a good part of the rest of his life in jail. Time for Victoria to introduce no body no parole laws.
Was there rubber tapes across the road? If so, I recall in the Sleba case, LE used that data to identify the type of vehicle, I think it was a multi wheel truck, time, speed etc. I’m sure LE could roughly work out the vehicle from wheel base length etc.
My mind has been working overtime on this case and the more I look at it the more I think it’s a random attack and the perpetrator has put SM into a vehicle and moved her body to another location. I think it’s just absolute sheer luck that no evidence has been left behind but I can understand...
Could it be the campers are responsible and inserted themselves into the investigation to take the heat off them. They and their story is….lets say….weird.
Because no physical evidence has so far been found, im now certain it’s an abduction either random or partially planned and SM taken away.
The theatre crowd she was connected with has really got my brain spinning, I think Dotta is on to something.
I’ve always wondered, instead of getting location data for a mobile, could the tech gurus get the mobile numbers of the mobiles that roughly had the same location as SMs mobile. I guess like a reverse search ?
I think they have also gone thru hundreds of hours of cctv footage, once the knew the last location and time, to see which cars came in/came out damaged, from the area, probably from a petrol station or similar.
I think the net is closing rapidly.
Probably need 1 or 2 key pieces of evidence...
Same here. Although I have my theories, nothing would surprise me.
Along with many others, i think it’s taken this long to gather together all her information from her phone and watch and then match it all up to finally come up with what we have today. It would be a ridiculously complex...
