This sketch will confirm a gut feeling for someone somewhere out there. Maybe they had an instinct or just knew deep down...they'll see this sketch and it will hit them like a Mack truck, even if it's a bit off. Let's hope they turn him in and get closure for the families of these girls.

Found Alive NC - Allison Cope, 24, Raleigh, 26 June 2017

Perhaps she stopped for gas and went in to make sure she was seen on camera as alone and "okay". I'm reminded of Nicole Mittendorf from Northern Virginia. I hope AC is just taking a mental health break and shows up when she's ready. I would almost be more afraid to show myself now (out of...

I don't think they do, either, but maybe they have a felon in mind and by getting his DNA they could confirm or deny involvement? Trying to stay positive!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I just don't understand the secrecy. Certainly there has to be a reason for the lack of info and obviously we aren't privy to it. All that matters is this a$$hole is caught, but what is the deal with the cryptic and evasive answers. I feel like we're dealing with Yoda or Nostradamus...

I'm sure these questions have been discussed at length in our 50 plus threads, but as the case has continued: 1. Why will LE not release COD? Is it because of the girls' age or because this is something only the killer would know? (seems like the Delphi community already knows the COD based on...

VA VA - The Colonial Parkway Murders, 1986-89

I've been on WS for awhile and randomly decided to see if there's a thread here for these horrible murders. I grew up right off (and when I say right off I mean near the rest area) 64 in Virginia, near Williamsburg, not far from the logging road where a couple of the bodies were found. My mother...

Great points... I do think back to RL saying how "pristine" the scene was and this is in contradiction to the accounts from LE stating the murder was so horrific. We are obviously missing a few parts of this puzzle. I hope with all my heart LE isn't missing these pieces!

I understand what you mean...thinking, though, that the part of RL's land where the girls were found is a grey area as far as seeming like it could be public property (meaning there may not be a "no trespassing sign, etc), so it would make sense for that spot to be taped off. A barn or...

I agree with your theory and have been following this thread from Day 1. I came to WS bc a high school alum was a POI in the murder of his stepdaughter and this is the only other case I have followed. Why? No clue? Did I spend three plus hours today sleuthing SM rumors and POIs? ...Yes. Perhaps...

There were so many searchers 2/13 and 2/14 it seems like a defendant could claim the evidence is contaminated...let's hope the investigators are getting the case locked up tight! Hopefully the evidence they have was found on the girls and their clothing.

Yes, barf is right. I went to elementary and high school with WS and let me tell you, trouble has followed him from Day 1. I do think it's interesting to think of someone like WS being responsible for these murders in that the trouble doesn't always have to be violent to lead to a murder. Wesley...

So, a $5,000 bond not a $500 bond. Regardless, I see RL wanting to stay in custody until next week.

Is a dispositional hearing typical in these types of cases? If a defendant pleads guilty and admits wrongdoing isn't the sentence usually given that day? IMO, this just all seems like a lot of pomp and circumstance for what he has admitted to doing/violating probation. For someone who is...

It was speculated a few threads back that it appears RL is wearing a gun holster of some sort under his coat in the media interview videos. Carrying a firearm would likely be a probation violation and IMO committing any crime would violate the terms. I do recall seeing it was his attorney who...
