Can't imagine anyone that would abduct a woman and beat and torture her they way that was described, as well as branding her, wouldn't be capable of murder.
Has there ever been a documented case where abductions for trafficking have ended with the girl being released, no questions asked? I just can't wrap my head around it being about trafficking with the way that it ended. Curious if it's ever happened like this before.
It really is strange that they won't say how she was approached. Of course I'm not in LE so I don't fully understand the scope of investigations, but telling us that say a car pulled up and asked for assistance, or someone came to the door, etc., shouldn't compromise an investigation. If...
All very true. I don't find it at all odd that SP used the Find My Iphone app. Lots of people use it or other GPS locator apps. I had a friend who found her cheating husband at his GF's house using Find My Iphone. And my hubby, kids and I all have a location app called Life360 on our phones so...
I agree on all this except him referring to her as "my wife". My husband does that all the time. Even if I'm standing with him. And I do the same, referring to him as "my husband". I catch myself all the time and try to say his name to friends but it feels so weird saying his name over saying...
The changing of the pinterest name leaves me dumbfounded. The name it was changed to is very strange, and if they're just trying to make it more difficult for sleuthers to find why not just make it private? So many weird twists and turns in this case.
This keeps popping in my mind also. Only difference though is that the Ramsey's refused to help LE. KP is said to be cooperating. I still think being so involved with the media is a weird way to handle things though. JMHO
I'm so sorry for what you went through.
Maybe it's easier for KP to talk about it because he's relieved to have her back. But I do personally find it odd how open he is, so soon, with the media. I've always felt that people who run to media outlets with the stories are trying too hard to seem...
I feel like they took the ransom money with agreement that she be returned after the ransom expired to make it less obvious. Either that or this was a very personal attack. Otherwise it just doesn't make sense that they'd keep her 3 weeks just to release her. If it were trafficking or gang...
It's possible she "refused" to stay. I would think after 3 weeks of captivity the last thing you would want is to be told you can't leave (even if it's a hospital).
This bugs me a lot. If something like this happened to me or someone I knew I would be desperate to get the people responsible apprehended. I'd be afraid of them coming back for retaliation or whatever. It's very odd.
Also, I'm curious why KP isn't working closer with LE (instead of blindsiding...
Forgive me if it's been discussed but I can't keep up...
This story does ring right with me. I'm wondering if the ransom was actually paid but they waited to release her to throw everyone off. And the offer to increase the random/reward was just a way to cover it all up. I still however, find...
I've wondered this too. As a former Best Buy employee I know they don't pay enough to afford living on that as the sole income in a nice area like they lived. Did either of them come from money?
True. If the kidnapping story is true it would make perfect sense that she was "returned" the way she was if they kidnappers claimed the ransom money. LE said that no money was claimed but I thought the whole point of the money was to get her back and keep LE out of it.
Agreed. It's scary to think people capable of what these "2 women" are accused of are just out there not being actively sought after. They haven't even bothered to say what direction they appeared to be going. There must be a lot LE isn't telling us.
