UK- Costessey, 4 People Found Dead In Home

Another sad, sad incident in my normally quiet little city.

Found Deceased UK - Gaynor Lord was last seen in Norwich city centre on London Street heading towards Norwich Cathedral, 2:35 pm, 8 December 2023

I imagine you could check the court listing for the day but for me, I feel like you wouldn’t go in or through the cathedral grounds to get to the courthouse. You’d just walk straight past and turn right, it’s a short way in front from there.

Found Deceased UK - Gaynor Lord was last seen in Norwich city centre on London Street heading towards Norwich Cathedral, 2:35 pm, 8 December 2023

For me it just indicates she had a purpose for where she was headed, whether meeting someone, trying to hit a church service, aiming to be at the park by a certain time etc etc. I honestly think the yoga thing has been blown way out of proportion. She could’ve decided to sit down, taking her...

Found Deceased UK - Gaynor Lord was last seen in Norwich city centre on London Street heading towards Norwich Cathedral, 2:35 pm, 8 December 2023

Some of the cctv footage is within the cathedral grounds. Police don’t seem to be overly concerned about the time spent on the grounds which suggests to me they are aware she was there and what she may or may not have been doing there. It is a popular meeting ground, so there is the possibility...

Found Deceased UK - Gaynor Lord was last seen in Norwich city centre on London Street heading towards Norwich Cathedral, 2:35 pm, 8 December 2023

We don’t know she was doing yoga, yoga like poses doesn’t mean that’s what she was doing. She could very well have been praying. Likewise, smiling doesn’t mean anything. I do think it’s actually quite compelling she went to the cathedral before the park as some kind of means to find some kind...

Found Deceased UK - Gaynor Lord was last seen in Norwich city centre on London Street heading towards Norwich Cathedral, 2:35 pm, 8 December 2023

So very sad. Local feeling from what I’ve seen (and an opinion I share) is that this was a purposeful journey sadly. The cathedral is quite touristy, and not one I’d go to particularly if I was overly religious, however it is super accessible so if you’re not particularly religious, but felt...

Found Deceased UK - Gaynor Lord was last seen in Norwich city centre on London Street heading towards Norwich Cathedral, 2:35 pm, 8 December 2023

I can’t get my head around her taking her rings off of all things. Unless she really was purposely leaving them for her children or similar. Even then though, it all seems a bit weird. Timeline wise, I suppose if she was sighted at the park at 4pm it matches up her walking there to me (I...

Found Deceased UK - Gaynor Lord was last seen in Norwich city centre on London Street heading towards Norwich Cathedral, 2:35 pm, 8 December 2023

As someone from Norwich, I can’t understand how she’d end up in wensum park if she was on London street/heading to the cathedral. Obviously the river runs right through, but the belongings in the park is a little bit bizarre. Even if I were heading to wensum park from the city, there’s far...

GUILTY UK - Nurse Lucy Letby, murder of babies, 7 Guilty of murder verdicts; 7 Guilty of attempted murder; 2 Not Guilty of attempted; 6 hung re attempted #33

Because she could I suppose. She was able to change the course of those babies lives with small actions and see whether the babies survived or not. I feel like it’s not so much why as why not with her.

GUILTY UK - Nurse Lucy Letby, murder of babies, 7 Guilty of murder verdicts; 7 Guilty of attempted murder; 2 Not Guilty of attempted; 6 hung re attempted #33

There’s a real sadness here, all the families who have had a baby in coch nicu in the relevant time periods are going to now be holding onto the idea their baby may have been murdered (which they may have been!) I can’t imagine what that does to your grief process after spending many years...

GUILTY UK - Nurse Lucy Letby, murder of babies, 7 Guilty of murder verdicts; 7 Guilty of attempted murder; 2 Not Guilty of attempted; 6 hung re attempted #33

One of the scariest things for me with this is.. what if she actually tampered with every baby in her care? So when looking at escalations you’re never really going to see the actions that didn’t have consequences like collapses. I’m interested to know if there’s any kind of average number for...

GUILTY UK - Nurse Lucy Letby, murder of babies, 7 Guilty of murder verdicts; 7 Guilty of attempted murder; 2 Not Guilty of attempted; 6 hung re attempted #33

Thinking she’s innocent and finding it difficult to believe are very different things. I find it quite difficult to equate the photos to the actions described in court and I don’t even know her. I also think it can be difficult to form your own opinion on cases if you’ve not in depth followed...

GUILTY UK - Nurse Lucy Letby, murder of babies, 7 Guilty of murder verdicts; 7 Guilty of attempted murder; 2 Not Guilty of attempted; 6 hung re attempted #32

It has been quoted in various msm sources but it’s pretty much protocol anyway with a crime like this, especially involving children or being a bit prolific (or big news) that the inmate doesn’t go into gen pop. They like to settle them in and will do a very gradual introduction to gen pop...

Not always. I left a&e with nothing. Our source of information came from the chaplain that attended in a&e, without her, we would’ve had nothing. And even then her attendance was optional to us. 17 ribbons for each baby, whether convicted of the charge or not. Nice touch.

To me this gives a bit more weight to the theory of god complex. If god wanted them to truly live, they would have regardless of her actions. Didn’t she say something along the lines of she couldn’t understand why some babies lived and some didn’t? Or words to that effect.

GUILTY UK - Nurse Lucy Letby, murder of babies, 7 Guilty of murder verdicts; 7 Guilty of attempted murder; 2 Not Guilty of attempted; 6 hung re attempted #32

I’m sad for the parents with not guilty or no verdicts. It’s clear their children were cared for by a murderer, and there are still unexplained incidents regarding their care that they can’t legally attribute to Lucy, despite it (in my opinion) being the only obvious explanation. I’m also sad...

I might be crazy, I only watched the video once. But regarding the knee surgery, wasn’t it the officer? As Lucy gets into the back seat the officer apologises and says she will move the front seat forward. And paraphrases that she had recently had knee surgery, presumably as an explanation as...

Thank you Alyce! I agree with the guilty verdicts. I wish it had been a clean sweep. That’s what I believe it should’ve been personally.

I’m at bloody pleasurewood hills with my daughter could someone clarify which are guilty and if any, not guilty?
