The Omaha PD Facebook page has posted about Jason. Kelly did as well. At least it's putting it back into peoples' memories for the time being. May whoever harmed him sleep a little less sound tonight thinking about the anniversary.

Yes. Just in the past couple of years alone there's been at least a few. As a New Yorker, I follow the local news here and there's been a drastic increase in sexual crimes (as well as regular violent crimes as well) thanks to bail reform and migrants.

According to Google, Fazoli's opens at 10:30. Assuming it was the same in 2001, they likely called Jason in before the restaurant opened. This is based on the fact that they agreed to meet at the school at 11. My guess is that they called him in before seeing if it was busty as a precaution...

The other thing to still consider is any potential witnesses that day. A Summer morning would absolutely have at least some people out and about outside- walking, taking their dogs out, children playing outside, gardening, etc. Even Jason's neighbor was out working in the garden when Jason left...

I generally don't believe in coincidences with unsolved cases. No doubt in my mind that Jason's schedule change had something to do with his disappearance in some way. How exactly is not known. It's the same reason I can't fully rule out someone at Fazoli's either- just too big of a coincidence...
