I also don't think he slept in a bin. As regards getting a taxi back to base I think he had very little money as it was a week before he was due to get paid. It would have cost a fair bit in a taxi to travel from BSE to Honington. He bought some alcohol which he drank in his car prior to meeting...

Assuming this is all correct the Daily Mail say's it was Greggs bin which was picked up. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4290764/Man-held-Corrie-McKeague-hunt-faces-no-action.html Daily Mirror gives C weight as around 90 Kgs & the bin weight at over 100 Kgs...

It would only ping whilst the battery was still charged. He had made a long call to his Brother the previous night plus I think it was an old phone so probably died during the early hours of the morning.

After what we've heard today can we be confident that the CORRECT bin was forensically tested. Call me a pessimist but I'm beginning to have my doubts now.

Would I be right in saying that all refuse vehicles have to go over a weighbridge at a WTS? I do know that businesses who are disposing of waste have to go on one & are charged according to how heavy their load is.

You may well have a very good idea there. Maybe clear perspex/plastic bins could be a way forward in preventing tragedies in these bins from occurring. Certainly worth a try.

I suppose it's quite possible that if C did climb into a bin he could have covered himself with cardboard & lay underneath it. I still can't believe he would have done this, however my guess is as good as the next persons.

It beggars belief that something simple as recording the contents of a bin lorry can be mistaken & on such a big scale. As far as we're aware the bin lorry didn't have that many pick ups that morning. I dearly hope that C wasn't in that bin, however with this new & major development it doesn't...

Can someone tell me whether this bin now in question contained general waste & NOT recyclable waste, as over 100 kg would be a hell of a lot for just plastics, cardboard etc?

There's been so many twists & turns to this case, so much conflicting information & so many unanswered questions it really does seem to me that there is some major cover up of some sort that has resulted in this whole case being so difficult to crack. Are there any similarities in other cases...

Has there been any mention in msm of what activities C was into in relation to the Swingers site he was a member of? I realise I'm just clutching at straws here, but it may have been a hook up that went tragically wrong & if so whoever else was involved has covered things up for their own...

Does anyone else remember reading an article in the Sun newspaper (I realise they're not the most reliable or respectful of sources) a couple of months ago relating to a Biffa collection from the HS? There was a photo of a bin driver I believe. He was asked to make a comment in relation to...

Apologies I should have made it clear, I meant in relation to the second bin lorry. Would that be possible? I know they forensically searched one bin lorry (the one which went to Mildenhall.

If it is the bin lorry driver & he has previously told Police he didn't give C a lift (in order to protect his job) & it came out later that he was lying, then this would be a possibility re: arrest.

Thank you Scorpio1 & Shiresleuth* *That's also answered another question which had been on my mind, where the cctv of the old guy was taken? Cheers for that.

Does anyone remember a MSM report that said "C told a homeless guy he was planning on walking back that night"? Was there any more info related to that report, such as whereabouts this conversation took place & at what time roughly?

I am seriously leaning towards the view that if foul play is involved that any perpetrator may well have been planning this for some time. The reason I came to this opinion is due to the slow pace of this investigation due to lack of any perceivable evidence (apart from C phone travelling to...

Just been taking a look at the walk through video that N did (on Find Corrie website) where she claims C could not have been spotted leaving the HS. At 1:16 you can see a c c t v camera pointing towards SB. The camera is positioned on the corner of a modern looking building which has Red doors...
