Let me know if this helps at all, I tried to get the entire trail in the map and I also put a compass in the top right to give a better sense of direction.
As far as parking goes, the road that the cemetery is on would be the only parking north of the bridge. The only road on the south side is indeed that private driveway.
I think the bridge could be visible from the cemetery considering the time of year. Very possible.
The trail "officially"...
I have seen a few posts suggesting BG may be overly dressed for the weather. As stated in a previous thread, the high for Feb 13 was 43 degrees. Is it maybe possible that Abby was underdressed for the weather? Also, temperature is a subjective thing from person to person. I just don't think 43...
The interview with detectives is even weirder. He only says "yes" "no" or "I don't know". Turns out the entire thing was inadmissible because they forgot to read him his Miranda rights.
Thank you all for pointing this out, the struggle of making a video at 3 am. I'm not sure why I put them on the other side of the river, but thank you for the correction.

Not sure if this helps anyone or not but here's a 3 minute video I made explaining the geography of the CS and how it correlates with what we know and what some have speculated. May help provide a better visual. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SapOh3AekeA
That's possible, but keep in mind they were literally at the end of the trail when that video of the suspect was taken. There was no where for them to go. Very sad and scary to think about, especially considering a hill was directly to their right at that point.

A crazy case was Stephen McDaniel. He was being interviewed by the news when they told him they had just discovered the body of the woman HE murdered - Lauren Giddings. The interview is chilling. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KIroLgiCyP8
This was discussed earlier in the threads, but I don't think it's smoke for a couple reasons. Both hands appear to be firmly in pockets while walking - if someone is smoking there has to be a cigarette somewhere. Now if he just threw it down on the ground, it's very possible he just exhaled his...
I have spent the last hour or so making this. I know that we only have the two stills from the video of the suspect so I decided to make a quick gif of the two as they were taken roughly the same time. This may shed some light on his walking behavior, movement, anything. If this isn't...
I don't find it odd that the immediate COD has not been released yet nor whether there was sexual assault. It is up to the investigators and LE officials to make the call on what information is made public so that aspect can't be used against them. HOWEVER, to your point about the sexual...
I found it on the UnresolvedMysteries subreddit. The Evansdale police insist that the case is not cold. Someone on the thread mentioned that the suspect had to be very confident in their ability to pull off such a crime with it being 2 girls in broad daylight. I think the same assessment can be...
That case has stuck in my mind since it happened. There are definitely similarities. The police department in Evansdale put up this site with more info on the suspect's possible behavior/motives - http://evansdalepolice.org/suspectinfo.html.
Yes, you are correct about them being deleted after a certain amount of time. They are only visible for up to 10 seconds and then they can be "replayed" once OR screenshotted if the recipient decides to do so. However, from what I know, most of their snaps were made "public" on their story...
