MO MO - Carol Cooper, 86, Kansas City, 17 Sept 2004

This is such a sad case. I wonder why she was never found. The Charley Project says that no foul play is suspected but also says they don't think she had any plans to harm herself, so it makes you wonder what happened to her. She had suffered so much in her life with the holocaust and the...

    MO MO - Jessica Runions, 21, Kansas City, 8 Sept 2016 #2

I think you are absolutely right. I think the chances of finding either Jessica or Kara are slim. I don't think Kylr will ever disclose their locations. So sad for the families.

Good information. I believe this was a terrible accident.

Thanks for the information. Did the brother travel for civil war reenactments also?

    IN IN/WI - LARRY DEWAYNE HALL, 1980's-90's

I thought for a moment when reading about Larry DeWayne Hall's traveling for civil war reenactments that he might have had something to do with Jody Huisintruit's abduction, since a reenactment was going on across the river from her apartment. However, then I read that he has been incarcerated...

    IN - Abigail Williams, 13, & Liberty German, 14, Delphi, 13 Feb 2017 #38

I also feel that RL had nothing to do with the crime, but perhaps the perp could have hidden items in outbuildings on his property or something. I don't know. I also am surprised that they didn't search his property earlier since the girls were found there. The killer may have used it as an...

Probably a real gun would guarantee silence. Still a risky move with two girls.

    IN - Abigail Williams, 13, & Liberty German, 14, Delphi, 13 Feb 2017 #38

Ted Bundy's statement, ,"Selection was a matter of opportunity", was informative. A serial killer seems to choose the path of least resistance when something triggers internally for him to kill. But two athletic young girls in broad daylight in a public park seems risky. This tragic case...

I think the killer surely had his own transportation. It would take a brazen perp to decide to commit a double murder and count on hitching a ride out of town. He seems too organized and focused to have not have a definite escape plan. He also had to have good balance to neogotiate that...

One of the most puzzling things to me is how quickly the perp managed to get the girls out of sight. The woman who was on the bridge not long after Libby posted Abby's picture said she didn't see anything unusual and didn't see the girls at all. It's like they vanished into thin air.

I know we are all frustrated and impatient and want to know what's happening with the investigation, but the thing we all want more than anything is an arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this horrific crime. We want justice for Abby and Liberty, and we don't want...

MO MO - Shirley McKeown, 71, Kansas City, 24 Aug 2002

Surely someone in Kansas City knows what happened to Shirley McKeown and can anonymously provide that information to police. The family deserves some peace.

Thinking of Branson today and hoping someone will still come forward to solve the mystery of what happened to him. Someone knows something. Do the right thing.

I hope that justice will soon be served in Diana's murder. Sorry for your tragic loss.

    IN - Abigail Williams, 13, & Liberty German, 14, Delphi, 13 Feb 2017 #37

I never thought about the killer's just being on a lunch break, but that might have actually given him enough time if his lunch breaks were not closely monitored, and if he could have taken a late lunch that day. He may be hiding in plain sight. This is such a heartbreaking case, but I do...

KS KS - Sarah Deleon, 19, Kansas City, 29 Dec 1989

That seems like a low bond for someone who killed two young women and ruined so many lives. Hope justice prevails in this case. So sad for the families of Sarah and Diana.

Sorry. I got the names turned around. I was just wondering how she might have hidden the cellphone from view. Maybe the leggings had a pocket.

Libby had on a T-shirt and sweatpants. Would she have had a pocket to hide her cell phone?
