I think I found the link to the "discarded backpack" comment here:

It was posted earlier that the PO called the police in 2014 for a trespasser. Based on public records, another home owner, 8 minutes away from PO also called the police reporting a trespasser. One of the reports was in April, the other in September of 2014. PO RL was one of the property...
Does anyone think this could be related to the houses that were trespassed in 2014, 6 months apart, with an arrest made. Perhaps not the trespasser but maybe the home? Who owns the home? Where he may have lived before? Where there any unsolved murders of woman? MOO is that maybe there could...
Does anyone know how to look up "free of charge" the owner of a home? lets just say maybe in the Burnettsville or Delphi, IN area? There are two homes which are up for sale within the last 20 - 28 days and I was curious as to why?
Wind, snow, it's crazy out there. Lost our electricity on and off. Hoping we don't lose it completely. Luckily we have a generator. 30 inches of snow--that's crazy.
LE hasn't released whether DNA was found under the nails of either of the girls. If they fought back, then the suspect would have wounds to hands or face as they would be the least protected. But most of the sleuthing has been on clothing, at least for what I've been able to keep up with. LE...
I've been very bothered by this case so I decided to post the "official FBI poster" for this case on my company bulletin board which reaches over 1500+ people from across the US, UK, and other areas. I don't have great sleuthing skills (not yet), but I can certainly get the word out to more...
That's quite interesting. It's a great observation. The girls may have given a hard fight. What better than to just move a reasonably long way away and perhaps cross the border. I forgot about the fact that they may have fought--perhaps suspects should have their hands looked at--I think LE...
IMO, the murderer was in the tip queue as soon as LE released the photo and the original tip is waiting to be found (not looked at yet or not prioritized).
Perhaps if a tipster has a very strong inclination of who this is, they should push harder to have their tip/evidence reviewed. MOO
