Very horrible and I am glad you are safe @Alicia__elizabeth. This disgusting man GL appears to have murdered people and animals potentially across multiple countries since the 1990’s. So disappointing he was not apprehended earlier.

GL just sounds like absolute filth. It’s so disturbing that he got away with this treatment of Lisa and went on to kill others. How many is the question.

msadventure it sounds like you had the same experience as me in not hearing anything about this until recently. Beaumaris is hardly a violent area. To think there was a cold blooded murder in such a tranquil place is confronting. To not have heard anything about it at the time is just weird...

I wonder if the case received much publicity at the time? As previously mentioned I had never heard of it despite going to school very close by and spending time socializing in the area. Seems bizarre that a murder by gunshot was not well known in this area.

Maybe the updated photo IDs were able to be drawn after 40 years as the police are aware of the current appearance of the suspect?? The police need the alibi previously provided to be withdrawn to make an arrest.

If the alibi was not longer provided enabling the suspect to be arrested would this person be eligible for the new $1 million reward? Or would they be charged with a crime themselves?

Sound like the police know who the killer is and just need the alibi previously provided withdrawn.

I grew up in this area during the 80’s / 90’s yet never heard of this case!

Just curious as to why the police would not release the name of the girlfriend?
