As far as those jurors go, they convicted her of lying to law enforcement -
But failed to convict her of her 'missing' child's murder.
Makes no sense whatsoever.
Casey Anthony's aunt, Pam, telling Nancy Grace what Shirley Plesea (Cindy's Mother) told her about the physical altercation between Cindy and Casey the night of Sunday, June 15, 2008, after the nursing home visit:
(Starts at 1:30)
So many of my links to the original case are no longer working, but this site has more information on this case than most. Of particular interest are the emails from Rick Plesea (Cindy's brother) back and forth with Cindy, and how Rick knew what Casey was up to. He tried to make Cindy open her...
Thinking about it, if a man was driving around with a child's dead body in his trunk for something like a week, and his baby had 'gone missing', later found with duct tape wrapped around its head and dumped in the woods, I would believe that a jury would probably find him liable.
Just my opinion...
I can't fathom Cindy's behavior on that, I recall she spoke to Casey on the phone during that month, but she never got to speak to Caylee, suspicious enough in itself.
And even then Cindy called law enforcement only after she and George found the car with the death stench at the impound lot.
I...
LOL - It would be so interesting though, if they questioned her about each version she has told of Caylee's death (I've lost count!) to see her reactions.
'As I sit here, I honestly don't know what happened to Caylee' (a few years ago) was the most ridiculous one yet, and though I haven't...
I've never understood how that jury completely ignored Dr. Garavaglia's testimony about how the Duct Tape was placed, three pieces, across Caylee's eyes, nose and mouth. Dr. G came right out and called it a 'homicide'.
Along with the dead body stench in the car trunk that Casey drove, there is...
Just read this item of interest on Casey's reaction to her parents passing that lie detector test: (LOL)
Casey Anthony ‘Threw a Fit’ After Watching Her Father George Pass Lie Detector Test: Friend (Exclusive)
Casey Anthony grew more and more distraught as she watched her father take a televised...
I agree, enough is enough.
Flynn pulled the trigger and was paroled years ago, now it's Pamela Smart's turn.
Looking at it now, it seems too much of a difference in the sentences of those teenagers and then Pam's sentence.
And they testified against her for lesser sentences.
I do blame Judge Perry for allowing Baez to get away with that opening statement with no proof, letting the defense move their table in position facing the jury so Casey could silently protest all the facts brought out against her, and I particularly recall one of the jurors had a vacation...
If only Stan Strickland had remained the judge in this case, he was the one who said 'The truth and Miss Anthony are strangers'.
I think it would have been a different trial.
I am sure that she could be tripped up, she is easy to get enraged, we all saw her temper on those 'jailhouse tapes'.
When I watched my sociopathic brother, I could see his blood start to boil if I cornered him about one of his many lies. The problem with a liar is they tell so many that...
'Foolproof suffocation' searched on the Anthony home computer on the day Caylee 'went missing' is no coincidence, proves premeditation.
Casey was taking no changes.
And all Casey would need is just one tricky question on a lie detector test - such as a yes/no question on Zenaida...
Perhaps a network will convince Casey to take a polygraph test?
Of course, they would have to offer her a hefty sum. But that would be a blockbuster!
Only joking, she could never chance it, she would probably say that they would ask her trick questions, trying to trip her up!
Wonder what Casey's reaction will be to George's polygraph test, showing that he had nothing to do with Caylee's death and no knowledge of her body being dumped in those woods?
Will she come up with yet another 'version' of events to cover her tracks?
This will be very interesting!
You've got that right - 'cold as ice' while being questioned by law enforcement and in all interviews.
Now suddenly she cries on cue on camera while accusing George of the most horrendous things and claiming they're all true.
Oh boo hoo.
