I'll try to link the article. I paid $10 for a month long subscription to archives of the Boston Globe, and the case got a ton of coverage in '61-'62. I'm not sure if the reporting was accurate or not, because that seems like such a huge piece of the puzzle that didn't seem to get mentioned...
