That's funny. Can't believe Twinings do an Irish tea, no way would Jasom drink that, it's either Barry's or Lyons tea for him, and being a Limerick man it would be Barrys I'd warrant. I never travel anywhere without them. Those teacups are gorgeous. Very elegant.
If you are referring to the famous case of Celine Cauley, murdered by her husband, also a brick if I remember correctly, he is wealthy. He was entitled to his half share of their jointly owned home and also his share of their jointly owned company which she set up. He left prison a wealthy man.
And he has had two years to prepare to get a jury to have a doubt. Being FBI he'll be expert on what to do. Plus having an excellent legal team to prepare him.
Looks to me as is TM is taking all the blame. Never said anything to suggest MM hit JC. So the jury could convict him and free her.
Does an an elderly man get sent to normal prison? Would he get less time?
Will insurance pay out to MM, I guess so if she's innocent.
Can any poster experienced in US jury trials explain if TM's testimony is enough to raise a doubt in the jury, even just one juror. Isn't that all that is needed, one juror to believe it was self defence?
I don't think there was a fight at all. Look to me like Jason had gone to bed on his own (evidence, not wearing clothes and only one side of the bed slept in). MM took a paving brick/stone and hit Jason with it (evidence, brick, drugs in Jasons body, blood expert testimony)
What I can not...
Irish Daily Mail
Going by posters on here, apparently this newspaper has the best coverage. I tried to subscribe to read the articles but could only find the UK or Scottish edition. Did anyone else on here manage it?
Well yes that makes sense, that she was looking for something in particular. The way her uncle tried to use his status to get access so quickly was amazing to me. His workplace were great, refusing him access. Seems they too found it odd for such a request the day after the murder. And we can...
I didn't realise that Mr. Fitzpatrick had made a sworn statement denying ever telling Mr. Marten about his daughter Mag's death. That's really well done by Mr. Fitzpatrick. Seems to me the Fitzpatricks were well up on what type of people the Marten's are.
Also on the speed of the visit to...
There is no way Mrs. Fitzpatrick would have had anything to do with Jason if she suspected he had anything to do with Mag's death. There is no evidence at all of Jason being involved in Mag's death.
Do you not find it odd that TM introduced this idea after Mr. F was dead?
But there is nothing anywhere about sexual assault so I don't understand where you are even getting such an idea from. How do you explain the fact that Molly had nothing to show for any type of attack, particularly no neck injuries.
Surely this is easily provable with TM providing a receipt or credit card bill. Alternatively the name of the store who could prove a bat was sold at the time and date TM says he bought it.
The poor man was really trying to live,I wonder was the bedroom door closed so Jason could not get out of the room:

Can I ask something, and apologies if it's already answered. Would TM not have a gun? Wouldn't an FBI person generally have a gun, and if he heard an altercation would he not bring a gun with him?
