This is so tragic for everyone involved. That poor driver tried to help a helpless situation. Domestic violence is horrendous. More could have been done to protect this woman. And now lives have been ruined.
I hate a system that says that driver is a criminal. Definitely not in my eyes. When I...
Yeah I agree. I think the poor lad probably didn't want to be discovered too close to home, too soon (to be revived) or at all if it was a suicide. He likely knew that due to his ill health, people would be looking for him alot sooner than in other cases.
This is coming from my brain when I...
Still no sign of Sophie, she should have been back at uni this week. Some people are still searching and putting up posters and flyers.

Apologies, I thought we were allowed if it was a public group for missing people searches. I read the rules all the way through but didn't see anything that said it wasn't allowed as it was public and from a trusted source.

Sophies family have asked for all searches from the public to be called off too. Sad news but I think it's safe guarding the public as well as themselves. They must want time to mourn. Can I copy something from the find sophie fb? I'm not sure on the rules regarding social media.

Tragic. [emoji17] Her poor friends and family and poor Sophie. I wish I could speak to her to tell her to hold on and that life is worth battling through. I hope they find her so they can lay her to rest.

I'm a member of the Facebook group and whilst the police are scaling back the search the public are still very much searching.

So terrible. Don't see how there can be any other outcome than bad. This country has a lot of blood on its hands for cutting mental health services. There isn't sufficient help available even if you ask for it. I know myself that I have struggled my entire life and no doubt if I had been in a...
From the 4th of December. An inquest will not be held until the cause of death is known.
Does anyone have any further news?

Interesting read. Thanks. It says that MS was arrested when a psychologist called the police and said he recognised the efit. I have to say that the efit looks like a cross between LB and MS. It's very hard to say. I know that they have lost the shoelace but perhaps the finger print found could...
I know it's been a few years since you wrote this but been having a read up as the Chilenden case is being investigated again l. Levi Belfield had connections to Bath, he used to buy drugs from the club where Melanie went missing and work on the doors quite frequently. He has been spread around...
Yes exactly. I imagine it would be easy to find out and rule in or out rather than scanning a whole database hoping for a match.

His ex wife said LB had an alibi for that day in Chilenden so I wonder if she made it up or if something new has come to light. I don't understand why it's come back up again.

Me neither but yes I find it remarkable that he was convicted by hearsay. It says on wiki that he confessed to a number of unsolved murders but they don't know whether it's just to cause anguish to the families. This is the link regarding the local murder but I am guessing they didn't have...
Wow crazy. I know that there was speculation that he might be responsible for an unsolved murder in my home town of Melanie Hall as apparently he used to buy his drugs from the city and travel here quite often though I don't know what came of it. I feel sorry for the wrongly accused if that is...
It's also worth noting that alot of medication for epilepsy and mental health disorders lower blood pressure and depress respiration and body processes putting people more at risk of exposure and respiratory failure.
