from Julie Gwenn Davis brother who posted this a few hours ago....
To everyone who has prayed, shared this page, helped dig into documents and websites. We have found julie. They found her remains September 10, 1990 around Manvel, Texas. They said she had possibly been there 6 months to a year...
Have they said if she died the day she went missing? I know her obituary gives Jan 17 as the date of death, but that’s probably because that’s the day they found her. Wondering what they think is actually the timeline of her death.
This is where i found the photo. Someone else discovered the webpage after I posted the pictures.
not sure if this is related but I found this info that may or may not be connected with the family reguarding SPIES.

Well someone did some digging into the photo I posted of the unknown girl because they actually found the website where I found it and posted the link to it here.
A lot of things added up for me as a match. I contacted the Greggs County Sherrifs Office about what I found, got 2 replies back...
The photo of the unknown girl in the family photo that I found a while ago... researching family history, if it's all connected, is related to a big news story many years ago associated with people being caught living in the United States and being spies for another country.
I sent another email to the Greggs County Sheriff's office. This time I sent over ALL the info I have.
In my email, I sent them the link and a screenshot of the comment made on Lori Ruff's find a grave website. And also mentioned how someone said that the authorities can contact findagrave...
Can someone help me out? A while ago, someone posted a picture of a male who resembled FLEK. This guy looked just like her and could have been a relative.
Can an someone direct me to where that picture is? I've searched some of the different threads and I can't seem to find it. Thanks in...
I don't know what you mentioned in your message to the Sherriffs office. But when I sent them my message, I also linked THIS THREAD with it. I'm sure they clicked on it out of curiosity. Wonder if they knew they had so many sleuthers out there trying to ID FLEK. Or if they were like...
So I got an initial reply from the Sherriffs Office, letting me know that they were passing my message to Kirk Haddix. This initial contact took less than 3 hours for them to respond. (This was early Saturday morning, June 4th.) I have not heard back yet from Kirk Haddix. Nor have I heard...
I don't know anything except for what I posted earlier. I haven't dug any deeper yet.
I've seen the family's ancestry all the way back to the 1800's. In this family there is a relative with the last name Turner and also a relative with the name Lori Kennedy. Coincidence?? I don't know...
The never knowing if they've gotten your message can be frustrating. I sent a message to the Gregg County Sherriffs office this morning, hoping maybe someone from there will get back to me.
Not yet. I'm waiting for someone to get back to me. I found the picture of that girl, taken in the 70's. In the large family photo, every person is named except for that girl. They have the word 'unknown' next to her. Which is weird, considering it's a family photo. But if it's a tip that...
Here's another comparison. The unknown girl in the top left corner. And FLEK in the other 3 boxes.
I think like someone else said, the cow lick hair kind of matches with the top right photo of FLEK and this girl.
And the bottom left pic of FLEK really does seem to resemble the unknown girl...
Well I sent an email off this morning to Dolly Welch asking her who was in charge of the case. That I found some really interesting information. I added the side by side pic of the unidentified girl and Lori Ruff so she could see a little of what I was talking about. Asked for a reply back so...
No, it's not Emily.
and I tried to email Joe Velling who was the detective on this case, but he retired in September 2015 and his email comes back to me as undeliverable. I'm hoping someone can help me find out who is in charge of this case now.
Well....... I randomly did a search and found a LARGE Jewish family with ties to many states that FLEK was associated with.
The many photos I've looked at, on the family's online album, it appears that a good majority of the women (and a few men) are TALL with LONG fingers.
Ironically...
