WA/Canada - Human feet washing ashore

Seems like a pretty incredible coincidence (not) :innocent: I still think some nutjob is playing with the authorities on this.

NY NY - Steven Damman, 2, East Meadow, 31 Oct 1955

They performed a mitochondrial DNA test. "But samples from Barnes and Horne analyzed by the FBI Laboratory in Quantico, Virginia, determined that they do not share the same mother, the FBI in Detroit said Thursday. Sandra Berchtold, spokeswoman for the FBI Detroit bureau, said the FBI follows...

NY NY - Steven Damman, 2, East Meadow, 31 Oct 1955

I find it hard to believe Barnes is not Steven Damman. The resemblance is uncanny... and the scar and the mole... so many coincidences. If Steven was the result of an affair... the DNA would come back negative for the 'father' but a possible match for the sister... since they would be...

WA/Canada - Human feet washing ashore

Are there separate threads for each foot? Isn't this just another in a series of discovered shoe-clad feet where the owners' identities have gone unsolved in the PNW? It seems someone is playing with the authorities by using these feet... Perhaps, a serial killer of some sort? What are the...

NM - West Mesa Murders (2003-05)

Did Lorenzo Montoya ever live in Lubbock Texas?

GUILTY NM - Albuquerque, UID child buried at playground, May'09 - Tyruss Toribio

They're saying she's been charged... yet they're also saying they don't know if the boy is hers. Why would they charge her so quickly and determine the charge types without proof the child is hers?

GUILTY NM - Albuquerque, UID child buried at playground, May'09 - Tyruss Toribio

Be interesting to see if this pans out

GUILTY NM - Albuquerque, UID child buried at playground, May'09 - Tyruss Toribio

Perhaps, just an unusual coincidence :waitasec:

GUILTY NM - Albuquerque, UID child buried at playground, May'09 - Tyruss Toribio

Looking at the little boys clothes, IMO, he didn't appear to be transient. Skechers are not cheap tennis shoes and the pair the UID was wearing looked brand new.

I believe barb emailed them earlier. *Edit* I guess I should finish reading all the posts before responding :bang:

GUILTY NM - Albuquerque, UID child buried at playground, May'09 - Tyruss Toribio

I'm becoming more and more convinced, myself. Way too many coincidences and the timeline is perfect.

GUILTY NM - Albuquerque, UID child buried at playground, May'09 - Tyruss Toribio

Thanks Momtective... I juxtaposed the pics... and you're correct... there is a resemblance. Look at the father, too. He looks like he may be mixed race. I hope we're wrong about this but I'm getting a bad feeling...

GUILTY NM - Albuquerque, UID child buried at playground, May'09 - Tyruss Toribio

This is why I was wondering about the father... James appears to be mixed race, IMO.

Mystery couple murdered in South Carolina, 1976 - #4

That is a great catch. How far is Pinewood from the location of the bodies? *EDIT* Pinewood is about 25 miles SW of where the bodies were located on Locklair Road. I'm now wondering if it's possible that the two deceased even knew one another... and if they did, how well. This Scott character...

GUILTY NM - Albuquerque, UID child buried at playground, May'09 - Tyruss Toribio

An uncanny resemblance would imply that the two boys looked 'eerily similar'. It seems you believe just the opposite... in that they don't resemble one another. Am I interpreting you post correctly?

GUILTY NM - Albuquerque, UID child buried at playground, May'09 - Tyruss Toribio

Does anyone know the race of the father? Another news story states he has physical custody of James, but assigned it to his mom (James' grandmother) while he serves in Iraq. http://www.amw.com/missing_children/case.cfm?id=65425

GUILTY NM - Albuquerque, UID child buried at playground, May'09 - Tyruss Toribio

I strongly agree. Does anyone have the contact info for the detective(s)? If anyone's made contact with the investigator, please leave a post. To address your second point... I agree. The timeline fits perfectly if the mom hopped on I-40 in Statesville (which I-40 goes directly through) and...

GUILTY NM - Albuquerque, UID child buried at playground, May'09 - Tyruss Toribio

Initially, I thought the same thing... but as far as I can tell... it's a sketch (based on available information). Therefore, all the features are somewhat of an interpretation. For instance... look at the shirt in the 'sketch' I highly doubt a shirt that's been buried in hot sand for 48 hours...
