I really hope that everything LA said is what the defense plans to say at trial. This has got to be the most absurd story I have ever heard, and I would love to see the jury's faces when they hear this insane story! It's laughable, I can see why he is cracking up throughout the whole depo...
I think it would be more frightening to me if I discovered my name, past, business, pics of my home, etc were being dug into by complete strangers via the internet just b/c my business phone number was on a piece of "evidence" that was not even photographed b/c of my phone number.
I wondered this early on in the case and never found any info of her having any little friends, not even at b-day parties. I don't think it's that odd really, if my son didn't go to daycare/preschool and none of my friends had children, he wouldn't have any playmates either.
Lawyers typically do not represent family members or even friends when they are co-defendants. I realize they have not been charged, but since this would not be a civil case for them and would not involve their assets, they should definately have seperate lawyers.
It wouldn't be that hard to convince a child that age they saw something they didn't. Pretty simple, and I don't think something like this would have just came out nearly 2 weeks after the fact.
This poor guy is gonna have to hold a press confrence just to explain why his name/number is jotted down on a sticker sheet. I think LE took the picture not b/c of his information, but b/c of the heart shaped stickers. I guess I am missing any other relevance or connection to the case?
I have been searching for hours, and I cannot find where this journal is listed on any property records. The only thing remotely close is a listing of "2 handwritten notes" that were found in Caylee's room. I was looking for this listing in case it listed a name brand of the journal or something.
docs say "the black bag appeared to have been inside the tan bag" then goes on to say, "there were a total of two black plastic bags with yellow ties inside the canvas type bag" and "whitney design laundry bag with wire enforced rim" So, she was bagged in 2 trash bags then placed in the the...
Wouldn't these be the same kind of labs that the defense will be using to test evidence? Or do they have a special, lawyer only, non-junk science spiffy lab that is better than the FBI?
They will be able to contact the manufacturer of the journal and verify when it was made. My guess is the year could have been placed there as a ruse just in case things didn't go according to her plan and someone did find it.
Thanks!
When people start inserting irrelevant information, it usually means they are hiding something, right? Why does she feel the need to go into so much detail on the blankets, but does not mention in any detail the events prior to bedtime?
Perhaps there is another reason the blanket...
morning everyone!
Where did this "blanket" response come from? Was it on tv or reported in print? I keep wondering what question was asked that sparked this rambling blanket talk. Was she prompted to start discussing it, or did she just offer up the info for no aparent reason?
I have been contemplating the changing of the g/f stories and the connection of all the bedwetting talk. Is it possible that LE found the little girl's bed had been wet, and questioned the g/f how she could have slept through a bed being wet, and therefore she had to change her story to have her...
If Haleigh were missing long before bedtime, wouldn't dad/gf be concerned the 4 yr old would blow their whole story? Also, if something bad happened and the g/f was involved, I would think the other child would have awakened at some point during the actual event or during the cover up/clean up.
If she were just sitting there waiting for him, it sounds like a teenager that did something like wreck the car, and is waiting to greet the parents and give them the news before they see the wrecked car. Sorry for the bad analogy.
That was one of my first thoughts when I heard she had called the dad before calling 911. I would have been so freaked out, home alone, child missing, OMG! I mean did she need his permission to call LE or what? Way too relaxed, IMO.
And as far as the kitchen light being on, I can't imagine any perp in the world that would be in a house with a light on. If the TV were on, it would no doubt give off enough light to acomplish the task of taking the child. I don't know the layout of the trailer, but I'm sure the kitchen light...
