Thanks, this is something I've been thinking about and wondering about:
1. Why is he crying in the photo? Is it because he's so emotional about the "cause" of the protest? Have we attributed our own adult emotions onto this child? Perhaps he was scared, or maybe he was being mistreated at...
Maybe others have had the same thoughts about the Instagram info, but here's what I notice from TC's posts:
Beginning in early/mid February, he starts using the hashtags strong, unbreakable, love, etc. He also seems to start posting about exotic places to visit, such as Belize and Thailand...

Here's an interesting article about Jared.

I didn't know this before, but his family moved (from Cold Spring) to Paynesville when he was a teen so he could have a fresh start. Isn't that so ironic???
If you read back, they explained that the LE didn't have enough evidence to charge him with murder. The family wanted closure and to have Jacob back home. The legal teams did the only deal and the best deal to find Jacob and to put the behind bars for a very long time.
This plea deal took a lot of work, and people working together, if you ask each one of us, the last 10 days the last few days have been the most difficult professionally...they were concerned every day that Dh would change his mind about cooperating. He is not a calm man, we had a limited amount...
Not aware of any other victims later after Jacob. Why did he let other victims go and not Jacob? His impression is because he heard a police car go by..
US attorney: DH needed to build confidence in his defense team, and with trial and long sentencing looming he was willing to cooperate 10 days ago. No remorse expressed to US attorneys.
Stearns co. attorney: state statute of limitations were expired on Jared assault and Paynesville cases. Only thing they had was some evidence of Jacob's kidnapping, not murder w/o remains. Child p--- was all they had that would put Dh away for a long time. They wanted answers for family.
Jared up now. I came here today to remember the spirit of Jacob, which is what has motivated me, along with Patty, and the other victims. I was the victim of an assault that in so many ways defined who I am today. Today I'm in a moment of finding a new purpose in helping others find closure so...
