Is there a reason why noone has posted for weeks on this case or am I looking in the wrong place?

Have we heard if the suitcase was degraded too much to retrieve any dna/fingerprints from the outside? I was just thinking that if they had managed to retrieve fingerprints they might be able to identify local petty thieves who might have stolen the suitcase from a shed/outhouse.
