This has probably already been sleuthed out, but I am not as up to speed as many of you, so forgive me if I am repetitive here! I have always thought it strange that a "Patrick Bourgeois," supposedly from Casey's HS, came to visit Casey during her first stint at the jail in July, yet she didn't...

Just wanted to emphasize this because it's such an important point. JMO, but not being charged and/or found guilty may be just as punitive if not more so than the alternative. After all, at least in jail Casey would likely be sequestered. She will never have that luxury on the outside.

I guess I didn't read carefully enough...! I still maintain that many of her "newer" crowd (Fusian, etc) wouldn't view Xanax as a "drug," per se...But my crowd may have been different!

That's what seals the premeditation aspect for me. How I would love 10 minutes alone with this pathetic excuse for a mother! :mad:

In the interview with Christopher S., he mentions that Casey had talked about looking at a home with her mom in a subdivision near a dump...off of Curry Ford or something? I don't know if they're still building in that subdivision, but CS says she mentioned this when she stopped over at his...

My opinion as well. The landfill's just too much to go through at this point based on decomp timelines and the sheer size of it. And I also agree that she'll never tell...my experience with sociopaths is that they don't trust or believe truth even when confronted with it (ie, in her own mind)...

OT also, sorry - but want to point out as a former party girl that Xanax, speed, et al are not commonly viewed as "drugs" (I know, crazy) by teens and twenty-somethings. We grew up hearing about saying no to meth, coke, etc, so when JAG said he never saw Casey doing drugs, the thought of her...

Former party girl here. Taking Xanax with my liquor always allowed me to drink more, which was my true drug of choice (and from the pics I've seen, seemed to be Casey's as well). Convenient way to knock out a todller, evidently, too. :mad:

I don't post very often, but read every day. These latest docs just break my heart. I just don't understand the evil that exists in this world, and once again I'm sitting at work crying for this poor little girl. :shakehead:

The only thing I'm still a bit on the fence about is whether or not she had help.

She should be scared. If she's found guilty of any one of the original charges (endangerment, negligence, etc), she'll be locked up in general pop, and it may not even matter that she's not been "convicted" of Caylee's murder. Her punishment in there will be worse than even she can possibly...

I don't know about that. I work in TV and we work pretty closely with LE and other "positions of authority" to maintain journalistic integrity with regard to crimes and such. It's mutually beneficial that way. I know it often seems as though media outlets will do anything to get the story out...

New to posting, been lurking for a few weeks. I agree with a PP who said that a lot can change in a year. And if the rumors about Casey's addictions are true, well, that explains a lot too. Chasing a high becomes more important than anything, sadly.
