    The Justice System and KC

Since you was the last poster and I quoted you, it may have appeared to be aimed at you. I intended to make the more general comment that while a "bad" system no one has designed a better system. No one would want a system that defense attorney decided (as a Jury of one) that someone was...

    The Justice System and KC

If the Defense does not try to prevail "win" our system would fail. If the prosecution does not believe the person committed the crime they should not prosecute. If they believe the person is guilty and then did not try to prevail (win) they should be fired. Please name a better system of Justice.

    Legal Q&A for Rhornsby #2

While motions are written and submitted by counsel, you notice that it is the defended that is making the claim. To try this her avenue she would need to admit to the crime. Allocution is normally required of a defendant who pleads guilty to a crime in a plea bargain in exchange for a...

    Legal Q&A for Rhornsby #2

Mr. Hornsby you previously stated: Please don't get me started on appellate issues!!!! "Unless this case results in a plea (which would require a waiver of appellate claims), I would bet my last dollar that an appellate court would reverse this case - if not on direct appeal, on collateral...
