I don’t know if the “burned clothing “ discussion is totally finished already but when I hear of burned clothing in a possible crime situation I think of bloody clothes worn by a criminal not necessarily the victim’s clothing.
No one at all believes that common sense safety measures are pointless -all the guidelines about sobriety and plans etc.. are great ideas. What I wish is that instead of constant suggestions about how women can protect ourselves I heard just as many admonitions for males to quit violating women...
Nobody is denying "I believe there are things people can do to lessen the chances of something bad happening to them." at all, obviously that's true. Likewise, the statement "Then reducing your exposure to harm is useless." seems like an insincere wisecrack or an intentional misunderstanding of...
I hope this doesn't sound insensitive discussing such a tragedy but I'm guessing that since the burned car and the deceased have already been found and at least one person has been arrested we can surmise that the perpetrators are not "organized" or "smart" and this case will be fully resolved...
People judge victims and decide if they are "worthy" of sympathy and concern. One reason is the denial mechanism that has folks convinced if they never do any thing "wrong" or "risky" they are immune from being a crime victim. The other really insidious belief (with female victims) is that of...
Early on in the reporting I read that Nikki saw her uncle walking on the road there In Perrysburg and set up the football watching get together for the next month. This general area is where her mother lived and where Nikki grew up
There’s a good chance we may not ever know what in the heck went on-but the interest here in Cleveland is very high so people here will keep sleuthing.
I live in Cleveland and Nikki Delamotte really was well known and well loved in the Art/music/food/independent business scene around town-it’s all so tragic. I think it was a murder suicide ,but with both parties deceased how can we ever know what happened?
There are always many things that us amateur armchair sleuths do not and will not know-we've got to take our lead from the victims family-Joey's family may know things we will never find out-if they believe he is a victim of murder and the killer still needs to be found and punished, I think we...
"There is a high probability that he was dead prior to going in the river," Franklin County Coroner Anahi Ortiz said. "We cannot determine that with 100 percent certainty."
I don't see why people are getting so upset and hostile toward other posters who happen to disagree with their theories of what happened. I have been on this site long enough to recall many instances when we (amateur armchair websleuths) did NOT have all the information that LE has ,and we all...
Not being confrontational but...why are people so convinced this situation is anything more than a tragic accident? Here in Cleveland we have an entertainment district on the river and young people out drinking and partying have ended up dead in the river many times-I know the family members...
Whoever this body turns out to be, I return back to the simplest explanation may be the actual one- drunk folks walking and stumbling around on docks, and sloping riverbanks drown very often. If there are no signs of violent trauma it may be a tragic accident, whoever this poor soul may be.
Ah yes...the newspaper lady! Don't forget the guy Morgan allegedly kicked (do you remember that one?)About JLM- if I understand correctly did JLM confess to everything BEFORE they even found Hannah Grahams remains?
I remember it that way also-the Harrington family put that memorial up on the Copley Bridge. At the time weren't we also focusing on college basketball team members that were also doing some "staging" in that same parking lot?
I think we are looking at all the assembled facts with perfect 20/20 hindsight. My impression from what I've read is the witness exiting the cab only saw the blonde woman with the Pantera t shirt, not that she actually saw her getting into the cab-the story always was that MH was last seen on...
I think thats probably true and it makes me realize how much we (as amateur web detectives) don't really know about any investigation-maybe the taxi angle was LE's "secret information". Also at that time we (the public) were not informed about the gold mine of evidence on that tshirt, there...
I'm just guessing about things like most everyone here- but I do not think they were focusing on taxis early on-my opinion is that after the Hanna Graham case when they zeroed in on JM then they realized the taxi angle. I did follow both cases and when MH was missing and everyone was theorizing...
