I understand that horses can be tall, but, those particular pictures look shopped to me. The horse appears to be slightly floating in the stills. The shot on the video looks real. The height difference isn't as drastic on that shot, though.

    Fast Food Workers Want $15/hr

If they raise fast food worker's wages to 15 bucks an hour, where I live, they will be on par with school teachers, fire fighters, police officers and EMTs. Sounds fair to me, right? /sarcasm

I'm surprised to hear your response LurkingSpectator. While I don't participate in SCA, I have many friends who do, so I hear the lingo and whatnot. Also, I do play role playing games, online. Anyway, I presumed that what was meant by fidelity was more of a 'political alliance' SCA style than...

The Mystery Man at Miller Park

I bet that's the last time he's nice to a kid at the ball park :p

Oh. Another lost-pup-finds-way-home-tale. Yes, but this one has added ingredients.

I love these stories When I was a teen, and lived on the coast, my dog went missing. We looked everywhere and drove all over the place. After days of looking we ended up miles away, down near the marsh, in a town south of us. We called and called and then <shock> heard her barking back to us...

I was really not expecting this. I don't know why, but, even with all the red flags, I didn't get a 'husband did it' vibe. Very sad.

He'd have to know that a dx of PTSD would make him more of a suspect. That he is open about it, takes him off my radar.

Am I the only one who hopes he had a chance to get online and see how many people thought he looked like a woman? Just saying, because he strikes me as the kind of guy who wouldn't like that much. Hopefully he was really offended. :seeya:

I dunno. Maybe neighborhoods were more connected when/where I grew up. I knew kids a mile away; even miles away. We'd ride our bikes to each others houses. We knew each others older and/or younger siblings since we'd be in school together. We knew who the creeps were.

I find myself thinking about the boys who found her. Not about any complicity in the crime, mind you. Don't go there. Anyway, I wonder about them living in that neighborhood with TH. It appears that he is a bully and a psychopath. Did he terrorize them? Abuse them? I wonder what info they might...

Woman killed in ride at Six Flags TX

From the above link (BBM): Can you imagine! You get back and look in the cars behind, where your loved one was sitting, and it's empty?

I'm with you SCHMAE. And then, after all the farting and joking around, there was a innocent accident and panic, which led to bad decisions. At least for tonight :(

I'm looking forward to the reports from the truck and sandbag experimenters. Keep in mind that a sandbag may settle into the grooves in the bedliner, thus giving it more 'sticking' power. Also, consider that, if she fell from the truck, it might not have been just acceleration, but, also...

BBM I agree that he played RP like a fiddle. However, I think RP thought she was playing him like a fiddle, for 100 bucks. I think there was manipulation going on all over the place that night, but RP was not as good at it and Cherish paid for it with her life.

On the one hand I agree. On the other hand, I wonder if she thought she was taking advantage of him for a free dress. Dresses are fun to have but are not items of desperation or necessity. Risk your lives for some food when you are starving, ok. Risk your lives for a new dress??? Really??

I experienced a Code Adam at a WM once. It was really amazing. Seemed like everything shut down, guards on the doors, everyone searching for the child. This child was, thankfully, just lost, but seeing it in action brought tears to my eyes. You could see that the employees took it very...
