How horrible! After all she's been through and what she's making of her life... I'm really praying for her. We need people like her here with us.
I know that "major injuries" is a general term, but would someone with a medical background explain what kind of injuries are called "major,"...
Has anyone placed razor blades in the church or in use in relation to Sandra? This is very nearly too much to contemplate...
All I've ever heard relative to them is that MH supposedly swallowed them in a grandstanding bid for attention.
concentric is asking KoldKase about their avatar:
That freaked me out too, concentric, UNTIL I clicked on the little link in KoldKase's signature. It's all explained there and is actually very sane. :)
I hope this is going to make sense.
SecretSquirrel (below) was quoting me (above):
SecretSquirrel, you may think you were errant, but I was on drugs when I posted. (Benadryl, actually.) I completely screwed up. I meant to say that we should teach children to watch for certain dangerous "red...
If TPD had seen a purple Kia Sportage on the video shortly around the time we saw Sandra, wouldn't they have been all over Sandra's accused murderer much sooner?
I hope they didn't fumble that one too, and only suspected her after the mother of the abducted and drugged child called them and...
But words about what was done to her could taint potential jurors. The legal process has to be preserved in case you or any of us here are ever accused unjustly.
I'm guessing the judge's primary concern is to conduct a fair trial that returns a verdict that won't be overturned on appeal...
"Insane" is a word we use a lot today. ("I have an INSANE amount of work to do." "You paid $300.000 for those shoes? Okay. That's insane.")
But insanity as a defence would mean the accused was so far out of touch with reality that they didn't understand what they did was wrong.
Like...
I know we've heard she swallowed "razors" or "x-acto knife blades," but if that were true wouldn't they have to have been removed surgically? Wouldn't she have been kept in the hospital longer than she was? Wouldn't we have heard about the surgery?
But then I know nothing about swallowing...
What about teaching children to watch for dangerous behaviors in anyone instead of watching out for certain kinds of people? That's what this article mentions. I really like what he says here:
My child's now an adult. He was never abducted or abused but I wish I had thought like this when...
Respectfully snipped by lngrid.
6angels, people like you are what keeps my faith in humanity alive. You're inspiring. Thank God for you.

I feel bad because I named her in one of my posts. I did it out of inexperience but I still feel bad. Is there some way to add Snapdragon's comment to a sticky? It's a no-brainer for most of you-all, but some of us are newbies, not used to posting on hot-button issue sites.
Cherokee, you're such an inspiration. Thank you so much or posting and sharing. It's so comforting to find people like you, especially when we have to find out about the MH's of the world.
Here's what Wikipedia has to say about benzodiazepines:
Okay. Am I the only one whose stomach just rolled over?
Was her mom too drunk/drugged to check her for molestation?
Did the doctors check?
WHY NOT?
Here's hoping this news doesn't create a climate where the defense can ask...
Is anyone finding MH's family's defence of her a bit tepid, if nonexistent?
I mean, if my son were accused of this I would be in everyonen's face screaming his innocence. Because I know he would never do anything like this. As an innocent parent I didn't think my little boy was capable of...
