I have no trouble with defending a person who committed a crime, they are indeed entitled to a fair trial and defense lawyers should be making sure that their client doesn't get more punishment than they deserve for that crime.
But what I don't understand is when defense attorney's make up...
I would prefer to see computer generated images, which would give an easier view, perhaps showing a layer by layer view in 3D. Actual photo's are of a human being and have no place being gawked at by the public. Respect for the deceased's remains seem to be fading these days.
I think the majority of her tearful efforts are to sway the jury. She wants to prove she is feeling upset. I believe she has been coached to do so at certain points, because I do not believe she knows when it would be a natural point in which to cry.
The way she "cries" is not natural...
I am on the fence with the idea of medication. I can see the plus side of a mild sedative, to keep her calm, but too much medication and she or her attny could claim she was not capable of being "present" during her trial. Interesting poll, it must be a very touchy subject with attny's!
