It is unfortunate that they will only get a slap on the wrist thanks to our YOA. I'm glad that she pleaded guilty instead of dragging it through court.
Our entire judicial system needs an overhaul, not just the YOA. These girls shouldn't be allowed out on bail, given the violent crime they committed. Look at that OPP Officer that was murdered because a violent offender was out on bail and didn't show up for his court date:mad:
I just finished watching the episode and I agree with you Boodles, Jean is crazy. I also didn't buy her "fainting" spell. It is sad that his children were unable to say goodbye to their father, and that he is currently buried in Norway.

The Motion is to lift the stay of proceedings so that Millard Properties can give MB $75,000 to pay for DM's legal fees in connection with his ongoing criminal charges. Prior to the motion being granted, DM was not able use any monies in MIllard Properties. HTH
According to this news article....police announced the arrest of Millard on Saturday, so I can only assume it was on the news Saturday night.

This is standard practice in Canada. Once the jury starts to deliberate the media will then post a story along the lines of "what the jury didn't hear" and that's when all the information will come out regarding the legal arguments that are happening. It is done this way so that the defendants...
Interesting article about police presence at the court, sounds to me like they are concerned if the jury comes back with a not guilty. I hope it is a guilty verdict, I think there is enough evidence to convict...
