Actually, most of what Suzanne Gustin does seems to be sex-related crimes. I wonder if she's going to be part of his defense.
I don't see how he has much of a defense, unless they don't allow Alexis' recorded conversations into the trial. I don't think the "you aren't responsible for what you...
I sort of get the sense that she has learned her lesson, inasmuch as it pertains to avoiding legal repercussions for her actions. I believe her when she says that prison doesn't suit her. Now, she can go back to ruining families, narcissisticly stepping on the heads of her own family, etc.
I guess when your daughter is a sociopath (her family's word, not mine), you are happy with even the smallest prick of light. It turns out, that light originated from the fires of hell.
My favorite is the part about how Gypsy MUST love her mother, because she gave her her most prized possession, her daughter.
Gag. What a load of pretentious, revisionist-history BS. I bet Gypsy's mother laughed when she saw that.
What a benevolent choice it was for Gypsy to give up her...
Has anyone read the letter Martin wrote to Gypsy's parents, after his visit with them?
Oh. My. Gosh. He's Eddie Freaking Haskell! It's here, if anyone is interested: http://www.scribd.com/doc/184003934/Martin-MacNeill-trial-Letter-to-Vicki-Willis
The last sentence before his Oliver Wendall...
Well, she's so sorry things have turned out like this for everybody!
There you go! That's good enough for me. Nothing to see here anymore. Gypsy is sorry that things turned out this way!
She never says she's sorry for her part in any of it. She's just sorry the wind of fate blew through...
Actually, when I was but a wee lad, Sears' line of Granimals took care of that. First of all, the outfits were color-coded, so you didn't mix stripes and pokla-dots. Then, the thread on the button matched the thread on the button hole - all you had to do was match it up. It was a true clothing...
Really interesting! I wonder how she might have approached them, to keep their trust.
If she really just is someone who did it because she is friends with them, then she needs to reevaluate her common sense.
I wonder if the jury has been doing anything on Google in the past few days. If so, do you suppose what they are finding is making them feel better or worse about their decision?
(A rhetorical question, by the way - there was so much that couldn't be testified to in the trial, I think the jury...
Another control freak! And everything I've heard about this woman is that she was a truly great person! It's almost uncanny, how similar it is to the MacNeill situation.
It's AMAZING going back and watching the jury instructions from the first day of trial. Poor Judge Pullan looks about ten years younger. I know he was sick, during the last days of the trial - but still, you can see how much it all took out of him.
I actually feel proud of being a Utahn...
I woke up this morning and said to myself, "Self, did that all happen last night, or was I just dreaming?"
And alas, it happened! MISTER MacNeill woke up this morning at the Utah County jail, knowing that he would probably never take another breath as a free man!
Has anyone seen jury...
Rise and shout, the Cougars are out!
I posted this what seems like months ago, when there weren't many people following the trial. I told my wife that there was something really familiar about Martin MacNiell. Then it hit me! When I was at BYU, I came down with a nasty case of pinkeye that...
