There also isn't a trial or charges for the bobcat theft, it's being used as evidence in TB's murder, to fry the bigger fish. SS is much more valuable as a witness than in jail charged with a petty theft. I'm sure if there was any evidence that he helped them steal TB's truck and was involved...

Do they have the conversation history if you don't save history though? I haven't found anything about that online.

I'm surprised these guys didn't use BBM (blackberry messenger) instead of texting. As far as I know, if you don't turn on the 'save history' button, there is no trace of the messages, and aren't any chat histories to recover.

I think she just had to take the bag off her shoulder, find a place for it, and then climb in and sit on the driver's side rear seat. You can sort of see by the way she climbs in, that she didn't just sit down right away. I'm thinking she had to move to the other seat.

Only if they provided their phones. Any of them could have deleted texts on their phones, which would mean unless they had them backed up somewhere, LE can't see them. I'm sure the person testifying provided his phone with the texts for evidence.
