Since we didn't get to hear much from Doug's side I believe the state did the best they could. The judge will have to follow the guidelines for sentencing so she may not get the max. But, this is better than a NG or hung jury. I'm still of the belief that she premeditated the murder.JMOO

I watched the end of the trail again. And I heard what ch13 heard. The judge replied, "if it's required, I certainly will." So there shouldn't be a need for an appeal. JMO At the end of this video you can clearly hear the judge say those words.
