I think it's the norm (at least where I live) for HS coaches to be teachers also, meaning they have to have a Bachelor Degree and teacher license. Maybe (as was suggested) he was an assistant or helper. He didn't have a car???

I really want to believe that school was not going well for him, he staged things (taking dog out, ordering food, planning fishing trip) etc and left. Perhaps he's not aware of all the resources being used to find him, since he's not on his phone???? The longer he's gone, the harder it would...

I still wonder.. was he really still going to class? Perhaps dropped out, just going through the motions of going to class, and he knew the jig would soon be up and he'd have to come clean that he had dropped out? Are we SURE he was still going to classes????
