Bosma Murder Trial - Weekend Discussion #6

Thing is...think of the planting and crop cycle. Even with low-till / no till planting (meaning that the land would not have been disked and turned), corn is planted in the spring - say by the beginning of May if it's a wet spring, and harvested late fall. A combine (which is used to cut the...

    Bosma Murder Trial 03.08.16 - Day 21

However...for the sake of argument, let's say that is what took place. Wouldn't that create an entirely different blood pattern than what was described here? MOO

Bosma Murder Trial - Weekend Discussion #5

Hi all, Just a random post (been following all the way along and have FINALLY caught up! :D ) ...in the previous day's discussion, there were comments about the trailer being dirty, etc. I don't know if anybody can zoom in, but what looks like debris might be leaf or flower buds from the trees...

And if the cheque has cleared the account, you can (for a nominal fee) see a scan of it as part of your bank statement.

Thing is, that type of barn is usually used to house beef or dairy cattle...which would be hauled away by companies such as Atwood. Of course if they had swine, then MAYBE....but again, it looks like the farm was set up for cash crops currently and not livestock. So why have the unit?

Yeah, and his friends thought they'd just help him with that. NOT. (not directed at you - more if they decided to go that way).

I am actually a horse owner, and have used Atwood's services as I board out my guys - if I owned the property I would have chosen burial, but it wasn't an option for me. They come with a truck and remove the livestock back to their facility.

Thing is...is that a propane tank on the front of it? If the unit gets hot enough to scorch the ground, then how would its tires and tank survive? Or is it heavily insulated?

Yes - crop rotation to avoid soil depletion, plus depending on profitability of certain crops depending on market conditions. It just seemed odd that with most farmers in S. ON already working their fields that the ones in the pics seemed untouched. Wondered if there were more to it than...

Thing that surprised me when I looked at the pics up-thread was that the fields are still corn stubble from last year. Most farmers have already started tilling / planting, unless whoever was coming in was going to do zero-till inputs.

If he cared about protecting her (assuming that is the case), then parking the trailer and truck in her driveway was a really boneheaded move.

To tow a GN trailer, you'd need a pickup truck - the hitch rests on a ball in the box of the truck. A Yukon is an SUV, so no way to do any towing with that type of trailer. Going back to my question from before....if he still owns the Hemi, then it is quite probably the vehicle used to tow the...

Interesting...they don't mention checking out her house.

Though looking at last year's pic there is some grass in the pavers there as well. Just trying to figure if his mom is AWOL or on vacation....either way, he knew that he could stash the trailer there. Also, if the neighbours heard the sound of the truck, that implies a diesel to me - they...

I was wondering that too, but most perennial grasses don't seem to have gotten too high yet. Saw the bags and wondered the same thing. Hamster - just went back to look at the pics again and saw your posts a bit above mine...you and I are on the same idea wavelength I think. Wonder if Junior...

Looking at the pic...in suburbia you don't let the grass grow between your pavers or let your lawn get long enough to bale - look at the pic carefully. Dee

THis is what I was getting at in my earlier post...what vehicle was used to haul the trailer? Has to be a pretty big truck, F250 size. And who drove it? Dee

My reason for my comment about the hauling vehicle is....where is it? Find that and you will have a pretty good idea of who was helping this individual. Dee

I didn't have a chance to look at the trailer pics, but my DSO did and he said that it is a GN (gooseneck) set up like many horse trailers. That means that the hauling vehicle would have a ball in the bed of the truck. It would probably take an F250 size vehicle to haul that with any kind of...
