You can bet that if the evidence was there, law enforcement would have him in custody. So, they probably are missing some key points or evidence and hoping that those will be clarified or turn up at some point. Atchison County Attorney Jerry Kuckelman Jr. did say that another person may be...
I'm in the area, and I haven't heard anything about them being located. JMO but I think there was no foul play in their disappearance. More likely it was medical issue, possibly even intentional. That is my opinion only.
Not to give EK any credit here, but the attorney might be the driving force behind this. He's going to want to be paid if his client has the possibility of facing some serious charges....

This was embedded in the Capitol Journal story site. It includes the list of witnesses.
Given the choice ....I could see her selling before he (mr h) has a chance to sell them out from under her. He's already screwed her out of a bunch (in more ways than one). jmho
just a thought but isn't it possible that LE won't even be interested in ReHo assuming her injuries were extremely severe, regardless of the degree of any possible participation in Pat's disappearance? Wouldn't her on-going medical expenses then fall on the state to pay if she were arrested and...

The first thing that occurred to me was the thought they might be accumulating the cash to flee. At this point, I'm not sure what LE can do about it, but I have to think that their actions are being monitored or noticed in some fashion or another.
Just some background info for those not local to this area...

While we...
Okay, I heard the report again this morning on KNZA. Apparently LE located a portion of a vehicle "at an Axtell salvage yard" early last week which led to the search warrant being issued. A pickup bed was found buried during the execution of the search warrant. Other than asking for...
KNZA did air a statement made by Atchison Sheriff tonight on their news. I did not hear the entire segment nor can I find it online. I did hear "no arrests" and LE continues their investigation. I believe he did reveal more information regarding a vehicle.
