OMG, this was a couple of blocks from me!! It sounds like she lives in my neighborhood, it's the only residential area in that direction. How horrible and sad!!! And also sad to me is my kids and I may have interacted with her at some point and I wouldn't have remembered her. Heartbreaking...

WOW. Reading that interview was very enlightening...and a cliffhanger. Did she go back the next day and give the statement after all? I'd love to have been a fly on the wall when she spoke with her mother after that interview.
