That is very cool! When my mother passed away, we split up her things between her children and grandchildren. I got her robe. After I took it home, I didn't wash it for a while because it still smelled like her. Almost three years later, I still wear it some almost every day. I have...

That's what I'm thinking. With capital murder on the table, it could be a bargaining item.

Perhaps they have evidence that a big part of the crime took place in Brown County? Or he was just misquoted... if that could ever happen. (Sarcasm)

Presumed innocent in a court of law by the judge and jury. Public opinion is not required to follow that rule.

However: "During the furlough days, the court may still attend to a limited amount of "critical" business, including conducting first appearances and determining probable cause for arrests without warrants." http://cjonline.com/news/legislature/2010-03-12/judicial_furloughs_set It will...

Heathman doesn't seem to be a high profile lawyer. Searching for his name on cjonline.com doesn't bring much up. He's definitely no Pedro. Using Google on the www.shawneecourt.org brings does bring up quite a few criminal cases. I didn't go through them all, but it looks like a lot of sex...

I subscribed, and there is nothing much in the way of new news there. It did emphasize that the "roads were clear, and there isn't an intersection that the driver would turn to from the highway."

I spent the first 10 years in Sabetha, and then moved to Seneca. I had not heard of the H name either. Going by the age given on the accident report, RoH would be in the middle between my two brothers who are 5 years apart. ReH posted somewhere online that her husband was from Woodlawn, plus...

I have heard also that he is not a nice man. However, I haven't heard anything on the magnitude of McElroy bullying. I did see a comment on wibw.com in response to the story of the search of the RH farm that alluded to Sabetha high class, as if RH might be one of them...

I wonder if he knew for sure that truck didn't say Spellmeier on the side of it before he swerved. Of course, the suicide part is still a rumor, but if it's true, there are so many ways to accomplish the same without risking taking someone else out, too. But then, if they are involved with...

Semi's are often referred to as tractor trailers. I did see the notation that it wasn't actually known if he was wearing a seatbelt.

My experience has been that anything that I am personally interested in takes forever and a day to be posted the the log. However, I suppose it might not show up at all due to being handled by the county.
