We traveled the 401 yesterday from Belleville to Kingston. I had no idea the amount of visible police presence there would be. We saw three large convoys (decoys perhaps?;) and there were vehicles placed at every entrance into and out of Belleville. I never really thought about it before...

Not sure that I want to hear this part. My heart bleeds for these families.

They had always intended to play a portion of the videos of the interrogation/confession made by RW. The other video "evidence", or that of the assaults and murders are the ones that they have stipulated will not be shown.

I love it when lawyers (and any person richer than me) say they don't do it for the money.....And then you read: "RobsonDan: The Porsche Cayenne that Col. Williams' lawyers arrived in has been towed for being parked in a fire route. #ColRW "..... That's a pretty nice ride. With a pretty...

I have not seen anything written as far as how long he was actually present in Marie's house. How many hours was she forced to endure?

So, is the Crown going for the Dangerous Offender designation? Is that part of the plan? Or do we all have to wait until it is over to find out? Topped up with Gravol and ready to face the screen today. Because for me, ignoring this would not be serving the victims. While I know in my...

The National is just getting ready to delve into the day's events. And since I already feel like I need a shower and a good purging I figured I would watch it. I doubt they have anything different to say than any of the other news outlets but...we'll see. Blech.

Can't sleep, and feeling really really sick to my stomach. Has anyone come across any links that would shed some light on WHY there are so many young girls as victims? My little girl is sleeping upstairs and I can't stop going in to check on her.

Not sure about how hard it is to get away with a click of the blackberry that is decidedly pointed at the TV screen. I can't help but think that the TV's were likely placed relatively high in the room, in order to make it a bit more difficult. While they may surface following the trial, I...

I could not agree more. I am going to bed tonight rather....sick. I feel horrible. And I know that it is just my mind working overtime. Simply my opinion, which isn't worth much:)

My mind goes back to a conversation I had with someone that attended the homes following his arrest. I now completely understand what that person meant when he said that this was the right man, and that I wouldn't believe the stuff they had seen. My heart is absolutely shattered for anyone...

That kinda sucks in a morally speaking kinda way. Simply my opinion but too bad that his victims were not given the same level of protection. I know, I know. Innocent until proven guilty.

Is a glass enclosed prisoner box standard in the court, or is it provided just for certain cases? I have never thought about it before.

It's a freaking madhouse in town today. Never in my life have I ever seen anything like this. We are avoiding downtown like the plague. You would not believe the people.

Those boots are long gone in my opinion. Sitting in a concrete slab, buried at the bottom of a landfill site or burned to a crisp. And I have 10 bucks that says the perp is somewhat of a loner, with no one who cares enough to notice one of his many pairs of boots missing. This is so...

So, a few things to consider. Construction workers that are working out of their area (an example of this is family member that considers his "home" a 2 hour drive from where he has worked for the last 23 years- 23 years of weekly living in various hotels and weekend living in his "home" 2...

I have a thought to add. Just a thought. I happen to live with a "construction worker" so to speak. He's actually a specialized one, an operating engineer. Specifically, tower cranes. We live a few hours from the "big cities" like Toronto and Ottawa, because we felt that the big city...
