Just checked in to see how the case was going, and - WOW! - saw that an arrest had been made. Way to go, LE! I hope this helps to bring some closure to the family and all concerned!

I'd like to add my "welcome" to WS as well. Thanks for posting! The thread at times ebbs and flows. All it takes is for some new information to come to light, and before you know it, there are pages to have to catch up on. I may not post too much, but I do check in almost every day to see if...

BBM Liz, thanks for posting this press release. Regarding the bolded, is this standard operational procedure, or a not-so-subtle dig at the WW? I'm just wondering given LE's unhappiness over the WW revealing the COD.

I'm not from Wenatchee, but according to Google, Owl Soda Fountain & Gifts which is in the photo is at 25 N. Wenatchee, not far from Riverside Park and the boat ramp. http://www.google.com/search?q=owl+soda+fountain+gifts+Wenatchee&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&client=safari Someone actually...

Hi Pachina, Just curious what picture you saw that showed an empty bottle in the fridge on the deck, I am assuming at the CB house? I haven't seen that one yet, so if you could link to the picture, that would be great. Thanks!

I am not aware that there is an actual parking lot video of MC, but it has been speculated that maybe there is if there are cameras in that area. But to my knowledge it is just speculation so far. The text by RC when he ID'd the body is new info to me. Is this rumor, or did you actually see...

BBM Just curious if you heard something about BFT to the back of her head? According to the WW article about COD, it mentions “Blunt impact to the head” but nothing specifically about the the back of the head. Just curious...

Finally got around to looking at the pictures of the spec home. In the kitchen, there appears to be a bottle or bottles on the island, and a black vase, fairly large, on a counter. More glassware to consider. Broken glass might have been what someone saw that caused that person to alert...

Which picture are you looking at? I can't seem to find one of the CB house with an empty bottle in the the fridge on the deck. Thanks.

I found the photo in a link back on page 15. And I saw the wine bottle in the corner in the kitchen. To me it doesn't look like a very big bottle, but then how big does a bottle need to be to inflict serious BFT? I did not see a bottle in Inspector Rose's pictures, but it is possible it might...

The bottle would fit in with theories floated around here that maybe a bottle was used to inflict the blunt force trauma. I wonder if the bottle is visible in the pics that were taken by "Inspector Rose." I looked and didn't see a bottle, but maybe someone's eyes are better than mine. I still...

L.O.I. could mean "list of items," among other possibilities ("location of interest" is mentioned too). http://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/_/dict.aspx?word=LOI

Good point, Salem; perhaps because of the time of death (something we do not know), LE is able to make the statement about clothes that she was last seen wearing, based on video or other evidence? Hope that makes sense or I'm just adding to the going around in circles. :)

BBM I'm not sure that LE lied and instead just didn't say everything. "She was wearing the same clothes that she was last seen wearing when she was alive on Feb. 9." Last seen wearing, by whom? Are we assuming the same clothes last seen by academy personnel, by the video tape, by someone else...

BBM and respectfully snipped for space. This reminds me of the YouTube video that got national attention some time ago of girls who were beating up on a girl they invited to a home under false pretenses. I can see how such a situation may easily get out of hand and escalate even to the point...

Haven't heard anything about the lab work coming back. I would think that it must be getting close to being done, if not done already.

Good news about the reward fund. Hopefully someone with some information will step forward. I wonder how, or by whom, the fund was bumped up so much? Maybe LE is so close, but just needs someone to step forward to break this case. If someone is reading these threads who can help solve the...
