As a parent (single or otherwise), the safety of your kids MUST come first. Anyone who argues that point (or bashes you for it) is just selfish, and shouldn't be a parent. Sadly, there are a lot of people like that.

I think FAS takes away those "grooves" under your nose (so that area appears "flat")...he has the grooves, as far as I can see. Doesn't mean he's not suffering from some other malady, though.
