Thank you Tricia for responding. This helps clarify things and I imagine is helpful for others as well.

Yes, there was a small pond near where her body was located, and they were using shovels and metal detectors. I think it's interesting that this search was conducted five days after her body was found, so likely additional information came to light to send them back there to do a more thorough...

With honest respect, I don't believe anyone was race-baiting, which is defined as encouraging racism, using racially derisive language in order to intimidate or coerce, or making verbal attacks against members of a racial group. Nor were we even having a debate about race in general. As in...

I am glad you said this. I was thinking it...but I'd already ignited enough of a firestorm with my "Law & Order SVU episode" of how he might actually be innocent. But yes, as I alluded to in one post, he might have been terrified, with or without warrants, to call the police upon finding...

I agree. Clarendon is actually a combined middle and high school, grades 6-12, and had 710 students for 2016-2017, with 83 in Grade 12. I went to a small high school as well. Even though there were only 42 kids in my graduating class and I knew who they all were I would consider most of them...

Great point about others that were at the party (assuming there even was one)... JMO, but "cooperating" to me just means the person was willing to talk and doesn't really imply that they are speaking in favor of or against the person arrested.

That's a really good point -- while most of it may have been in the back, it's hard to imagine that NONE would have ended up in the front. Even if he just found his keys in his car and didn't drive off, he'd have to at least lean in to get them. From what I recall upthread, the interior was...

Those are very good questions/points and collectively do put more doubt in my mind regarding his story. In particular, as you and a few others have also pointed out, if he were passed out at a party, you'd think his friends would be all over the news defending him. LE would have more info now...

Again this is just playing "Devil's Advocate" so take it for only that -- I don't think it's coincidence either, but what if... the person that could have taken his keys was an acquaintance from high school and would have known the area well also? The turkey hunters that found her body just 12...

I can't speak for what was in the minds of others, but I was genuinely skeptical about whether he could have handled her body by himself long before the video of the parents came out. However, y'all have convinced me that it's possible. :)

You have a good point about Fed Ex, his sports history, etc. And I've since looked up some info on relative strengths between men and women and see that on average women have about 50-60% of the strength of guys. That amazes me that it's that different, but then again I'm pretty strong. So...

Ok, it's bizarre....I did what you said....clicked (from my computer) where it says the time, and I do get a "standalone" post but it shows 1:23, not 12:23 as in the original. This for sure complicates things....

When you say you "click on the post", do you mean on your phone? I'm looking at mine on my computer (it says 12:23) and clicking anywhere on it does nothing. Perhaps if you're on a mobile and near another timezone, it might adjust, perhaps incorrectly? I'm in the Atlanta area, in the same...

Actually it was at 12:23, where he said he never missed a "significant other" shot at basketball.

(Please correct me if I'm wrong with anything below.) Hi Maa23. It's my understanding that the idea that the car is in his parents' name came from an interview from his parents where they said something like "our car", although there may be more facts out there that I missed. I'm not sure if...

You bring up an excellent point about the DNA. She would most likely have his DNA on her or other trace evidence like hairs, regardless of who actually picked her up and killed her. They haven't (shudders) given any indication of whether she was sexually assaulted though. If there is DNA...

Thanks. :P But really, I was trying to think of a scenario that answered some of our lingering questions... If she's 5'7", 145lbs, and Nate is a scrawny 5'8", 155lbs... how did he get her into the trunk, or from the trunk to the spot where her body was found? I guess it's possible, but I...

Good details here on this. It still would be about 40% of a tank used, round trip, so it's possible they didn't need to get gas, BUT it still is a significant amount of gas, so it's definitely possible that someone would have had to stop. If the murder was unplanned, then they may not have had...

Just playing "Devil's Advocate" for a moment... LE obviously knows more than we all do, but while I see plenty of Probable Cause for an arrest, IMOO I still don't see anything so far in the public domain that proves he was the one that committed this murder beyond a reasonable doubt. Yet it...
